I took a holiday today to play the prepatch and set up my hunter, but apparently my vacation didn’t go through and I no called no showed today and I got fired. My wifey left this afternoon after she found out. She took my babies (our two poodles) and threatened to never let me see them again if I can’t get my job back, but I figured before I beg for my job back I could at least get in some WoW time after 3 before I go. Guess what happened. Extended maintenance.
I am going to beg now, wish me luck gamers. For the Alliance!

Why do people do this?
Take the day after, but never the actual day. The day of is always maintenance pretty much all day.

If this is a remotely a true story, it might be a good wake up call for priorities. WoW is great but not worth the loss of a job or marriage. Especially for something as silly as a prepatch that only really gives us ranked shuffle and talent changes.

I remember when my wife left me. She felt that I was more into WoW than her. I told her that wasn’t true but she didn’t believe me. I came home one day and saw my clothing and PC outside my house with a note telling me it was over and to leave. I COULD’VE left but something in me was telling me to not give up, plus I paid for the house. I gathered up everything, took them to our garage and set up my PC in there. Next day she pulls into our drive way and has a button in her car to open our garage. As she’s pulling in, she presses the button to open the garage and there I am. Was in an Arena match but I still managed to communicate with her and I told her I’m not leaving because 1. She’s wrong. 2. This is my house and I paid for it. After a few months she came into the garage and we talked. 6 months later we’re happily back together.
