Well played gold bots well played

So just the whisper of a lotus/flask fix and every raid consumable that isn’t a flask almost triples in price. Herbs are now double what they where yesterday. well played bots well played. They have to feed there families lol.

How are you sure its bots and not just other players?

players will never admit their own undoing. its always the bots fault. its the easiest for them to blame.

I been desperate for gold trying to sell herbs, so I can get the Eye of shadow and get through that paywall to get that staff.

seems maybe more likely that price shot up because everyone is in AV/AB and not farming things to post on the AH, so supply is more constrained than it would normally be

also just looking at the AH rn, this doesnt really seem to be true at least for melee stuff, all the things i usually buy are roughly the same price they were a few days to a week ago

Allow me to explain the current situation. Now, i cant use crayons here and the Rs arent going to be backwards, so focus up. Itll be a little difficult for you to grasp.

  1. GDKPs are banned
  2. Gold sellers know their pet addicts wont quit cold turkey. So they maintain their stocks.
  3. Gold buyers keep buying gold for consumables, mounts, BoEs, etc
  4. Gold Sellers - utilizing the tiniest bit of intelligence - realize they already control wide swaths of the commodities markets and decide to expand this further
  5. Market control allows them to dictate price. Dictating price allows them to artificially increase demand for gold
  6. Gold buyers buy more gold to pay for consumables
  7. gold sellers slowly ratchet up the prices on the commodities they control (lotus, plaguebloom, silversage, dreamfoil, arcanite/arcane crystals, etc) as doing so directly drives the demand for gold
  8. gold buyers continue buying consumables and commodities at the increased prices, sending all the gold they bought right back to the people they bought it from
  9. Gold sellers begin also slowly ratcheting up the cost of gold - because they can
  10. gold buyers keep paying the increased prices for gold
  11. gold sellers continue ratcheting up the cost of commodities and consumables
  12. gold buyers pay it
  13. the cycle repeats ad infinitum as it allows gold sellers to steadily increase their profits with minimal effort as they control both sides of the cycle (AH prices and Gold prices)
  14. gold buyers are too short sighted to understand whats happening so they seek to blame anyone but themselves
  15. gold sellers laugh their way to the bank because whats little Timmy gonna do about it? Not buy gold? Yeah right

And i can paste this in every thread you make.

but if bots are controlled by players… is it really the bots?

Lol why are you people even playing this?

Guess how much mongoose is selling for in sod?

They’re waiting for the actual Classic+ so they can be disappointed again

Get some guildies to help you farm it! Boring for sure, but more fun when you’re goofing off with people at least and ganking Alliance.

Unless you’re saying the spot is heavily camped now?

GDKP is never coming back

So you’re saying step 9 is right around the corner.

Let’s see.

You can make the flasks free, but it still won’t change the fact that SOD is retail minus (and their least popular Classic product)
