Well, now that Evokers occupy Mail, the next class has to be Cloth, Mail, or Plate

Since my class took a fourth class slot for Leather, that’s out of the question.

Was thinking:

Cloth: Fatebinder/Bard (Heal/Augment (Heal instead of DPS)/Melee DPS (Energy))

Mail: Pilot (Tank/Heal/Ranged DPS/Melee DPS)

Plate: Paragon (Tank/Ranged DPS/Melee DPS)

Fatebinder/Bard:

Songweaver (Healer (Mana)), Taleweaver (Augment Healer (Mana + Ebon Might-esque Buff)), Dealmaker (Melee DPS)

Pilot:

Battlemechanic (Tank (Gray Bar: Mechania)), Nanomender (Healer (Mana)), Generator (Ranged DPS (Mechania)), Obliterator (Melee DPS (Mechania)

Paragon:

Order (Tank (Pink Bar: Might), Virtue (Ranged DPS (Might)), Legion (Melee DPS (Green Bar: Corruption))

Personally, I’d love to see Blizzard add an entire class in a patch too, either 11.0 or another Dragonflight patch. It’s clear and apparent they want to have fun balancing, so go nuts!

No new classes until balance exists for current classes.

This, + until all classes can be used by all races, and character cap is increased to 100.

I’m not trying to imagine a new class after what they did with this one. I guess dh shouldve been the red flag and absolutely was but I didn’t see it until they made lizard wizards. Evoker is really fun to play especially devastation but being a lizard who can’t even make full use of transmog is an absolute deal breaker for me and so many others. Why do you think we’re getting lightforged warlocks? Players in general are very much over race and faction restrictions on our gameplay choices. I don’t want to see another new class in this game. Not until it’s become truly apparent that they know we don’t like these limitations anymore and rethink the way they design as a result.

Necrolyte Hero Class. But Blizz would not add a hero class in one xpac right after the other. I would be willing to wait to get that class…and added into the game exactly as it was in Warcraft 1.

We’re probably like 4-5 expansions away from getting another class, and it will probably have 1 spec. So, 8-10 years.

Classes are constantly being balanced, it’s a constant process… what does your comment even mean? So, no new classes ever? Seriously?

Apples and oranges… Why should other people have to wait because you want to make a Human Druid 10 years from now?

That’ll never happen.

So…no new classes then.

PSA: we could have had tinkers with a tank spec, ranged and melee spec. Instead we got Garbo evoker. SMH.

Blizzard experiment with augmentation evoker is interesting but it is too much too soon , Semicasual has a point, it should be balanced with other specs having a add for flavor .Only thing I’m worried about is the click rotation of spells and the need to weave.

I don’t really see how DH was a red flag. Making a class exclusive to a certain race wasn’t the issue, and they have a full range of transmog options. Do I think that they should be expanded to other races? Sure, why not. There are multiple DHs in the lore who are not BEs or NEs. Elves just have a stronger affinity for magic, making them ideal candidates.

Considering their recent moves to expand other classes to races who have little to no precedent at all…yeah, it really doesn’t matter at this point. Most, if not all classes should be available to all. They just sold Dracthyr extremely short on multiple fronts, but I haven’t really seen any “red flags” about playable races and classes that might have led to this.

I hope the next class only shows bracers and boots.

This is why housing costs so much in this country

I don’t even know what most of those classes are that the OP listed. None of them are a Hero class from Warcraft.

No cloth class has ever been added to the game.

Cloth Necromancer like Kel’Thuzad.

A mix of frost spells and bone spells, perhaps with a healing spec.

Kinda similar to a Warlock.

DKs are not that, and never will be. Too bulky.

Well, now that Evokers occupy Mail

They been occupying that since November last year.

That’s not your decision to make, it’s Blizzard’s.

I’m guessing the next class, whatever it may be, will use cloth or plate. Either of those would make sense, though my gut tells me it’s far more likely to be plate.

why not remove boots? That would be closer to what some people want :dracthyr_shrug:

it is slightly ironic a classic character is complaining about class balance.
