I just cancelled my sub. It expires in about a week and a half.
These were the closing notes:
"Blizzard is blatantly ignoring the pvp community. I’m not paying for this anymore. The PREMADE RAIDS issue has been noted clearly, Blizzard does not care at all to address this, and has ignored us pvp players for far too long.
The premade cheaters are also exploiting to sell gold by way of purchasing items with honor that are sellable on the Auction House. Add to this the win trading and boosting of rated pvp, and enough is enough at long last.
20 year account holder, saying goodbye."
Now, I’m not going to tell anyone else to do the same, but I am going to say that absolutely nothing else is garnering any kind of attention and everything has been tried by multitudes of players. Perhaps enough people will follow suit to save the game for others, perhaps it may even be worth coming back to one day.
Peace out, my Alliance peeps and Horde stains. Remember, PvPimpin’ ain’t PvEasy.
If Blizzard hadn’t introduced Blitz bgs, I would’ve canceled my subscription a year ago. I used to play Epic bgs only and I played a lot of them, but Epic bgs are not enjoyable for solo players like me now.
I actually left WoW to play Genshin Impact, but gave Blitz bgs a shot, and that’s what brought me back. But still, I play Genshin more than WoW now, mainly because it feels less chaotic.
I got 2 full communities, and just about 2 guilds full of like minded individuals who are done with pug mentality of my way or the highway. yep i guess pvp is dead.
So being part or one of the reasons less and less people are queuing EBGs is somehow a brag now? So your goal is to make people not want to queue a bracket? Interesting.
They all lack basic social awareness and day jobs, that’s how their communities are formed. It’s pure convenience not friendship. If these people had even one hobby growing up or played any sport where fair play is expected, they’d be disgusted with themselves, doubly so because 99% of them are terrified of rated.
My whole high school soccer team would go play pickup games at the local park on the weekends when I was growing up. We had a choice to make every time. Take over the field from some casuals (and then brag about it?) and ruin their night or not be cowards and play against the organized men. I guess the chronically online underachievers never learned the meaning of integrity or fairness.
