Today is my Birthday! I’m turning 40 today and I thought, ‘What’s a better way to start the morning than to announce it to a bunch of random strangers and see what they have to say about it’.
I’ve spent almost 1/2 of my life Involved in this game. Some of it way to much at a time and some of it very little at a time. But, for better and for worse, it has been a part of my life for a lot of my life. I met my wife here. I met some of my longest running friends here. I’ve met some of the nastiest and nicest people I’ve ever encountered here. I’ve learned valuable life lessons here. I’ve had good times and bad here. I’ve gotten to meet people from all across the world here. It’s my world within the world. Sometimes it’s been an escape and sometimes it’s been a bane to my existence.
All in all it has been a ride. (This is starting to feel like a goodbye message but it’s not) I hope you all have a wonderful day. Take the hour for maintenance and go hug someone 
Go talk to someone Go pet your cat or your dog for a while Go play with your Kids Go for a walk Read a book
Here’s to another 40 years, maybe even all of them existing in Azeroth as well!

Happy 40. You now may complain about the younger generation and how things were better in your time. Also stock up on Tylenol Arthritis because all the running and jumping you did when younger will come back to bite you hard.

I am in my late 30s. Alot of people tell me I look like I could be in my 20s, and I look good… for my age. One of my friends just turned 30 and I welcomed him to the 30s club.
40 is approaching, yeeesh. I am about to leave the 30s club and join the 40s club.

I refuse to live past 50 for obvious reasons.
I even have it all setup how im gonna go out with a bang.

I’ve been complaining about the younger generation (including my own) for along time lol. And my body started giving out on me like 10 years ago. I was REALLY hard on my body as a young man lol.
I hope this is being facetious. Old age is not a curse, it’s a blessing!

30-years of HS, college, and gym-rat basketball have rekt my knees… its bound to get worse for all of us.

I gotta scratch my head at you people that exercise to the point of hurting yourself. I knew two guys that did that.
One ran and boxed so much that his knees and wrist are pretty much made of metal or plastic. Whatever they use to replace them. The other one was a CrossFit person and he would come to work with bruises and scratches all over himself.
Can’t you do a few crunches and push ups then call it good?

Well I can’t guarantee no complaints. Sometimes getting older is hard. But I try hard to remember that getting older means getting to live. And Life is wonderful thing, even in the worst of times. As, you said, so many are not given the opportunity to live.
