double tap has been a plague that has held back MM since its creation
I agree with those who say we (as in every spec in the game) should get our fundamental abilities baseline and the trees to build off of them. Do I mind it? Not particularly but, it obviously takes space in the tree that could be something else. The expensive nodes and passive talents also leaves much to desired
I do think, considering how hunter trees released, that 1. Theyâre trying REALLY hard not to use anything prior to Bfa. 2. Had absolutely no clue on the end goal for Hunters. 3. Realized how utterly bare the hunter class as a whole felt after deconstructing everything into talent trees (tho BM wasnât bad) 4. They decided that they NEEDED our feedback for hunters vs taking feedback as it comes.
I do hope they make the trees more symmetrical than it is. And I do hope the finished trees are cohesive, intuitive and streamlined when it comes to creating a build for w.e content you decide to play in. In the same way it feels for warriors and shaman
Understanding why you have to talent into some things isnât hard, but yet you still donât get it.
Do yourself a favor, go to literally every class forum and you can find a post with people complaining about having to talent into spells they currently have⌠Itâs almost as if it was designed this way⌠You donât start off at level 1 with aimed shot, you have to level into it. Quit being daft to complain for the sake of complaining.

Well then, itâs almost like I pointed out that Balance Druids get their most iconic spells without having to spend talent points but MM hunters have to spend talent points on their most iconic ability in Aimed Shot.

Itâs especially dumb when the very first talent in the balance druid tree is eclipse, you know, the mechanic the entire spec is designed around⌠Again, itâs almost as if this is a replacement for getting spells while leveling. Okay, Iâm feeling generous, so Iâll make it simple for you. Answer this one question truthfully, and if you get it right, Iâll stop posting on the hunter forums. When you create a hunter, do you have Aimed Shot or do you have to level up in order to get it? Simple questionâŚ

Look in the Class Tree and when speced to BALANCE, balance druids get Starfire and Starsurge for no points.
Then look through the rest of the trees and youâll notice Wrath and Moonfire arenât even there. So they either donât have them at all or they get them baseline.

Donât bother honestly. I know youâve been away for a while, but in short, Elhyas is pretty much what Darkeforge, if you remember that gnome warrior from a while back, what he was like. You canât check his post history, but pretty much with every post on here, he tends to either make attempts at trolling other posters, stirr up fights, or otherwise mock anyone who happens to mention something positive about RSV(on more than one occasion).
Itâs especially funny to see how his character is even on the same realm as Darkeforge is/was.

Of course, you didnât get it⌠why am I not surprised. Those druid spells you listed⌠sit down and think about them for a few minutes. Now ask yourself if they are used by only balance. When it finally sinks in take a seat and pat yourself on the head.
