If we needed weapons of immense power to defeat the Legion, it only stands to reason that we’d need them to defeat Aman’thul/The Titans
That then begs the questions:

Would we be returning to our current Order Halls? Or get new ones?

Will the Evoker Order Hall be the Seat of the Aspects in Valdrakken?

And for the inevitable Tinker/Artifcer class, will Mimiron’s Halls of Ingenuity be their Order Hall location?

What are some more untapped weapons in lore that haven’t been “expended” of their energy that we could use?

Lorewise at least a couple of them (mage and rogue) kind of sort of canonically don’t exist anymore sooooooooooooooooooooo…
They won’t do artifact weapons anyways; they were kind of fun for a while, but the fun of grinding up various weapons wore off and people yearned for finding big weapon upgrades like they normally do in an expansion’s lifecycle.

Meh, none of that requires artifacts that get equipped. We beat the Jailer with the power of the Primus, one of the Zereth Mortis machines and the Helm of Domination. We got our hands on Iridikron and Fyrakk’s personal armaments and they weren’t artifacts (and Argus/Aggramar/Jailer/Sylvanus) and those weren’t artifacts. Artifact doesn’t mean stronger, honestly, it’s just special.

I don’t think the finding of weapons is really a factor most people cared about and it’s not really a factor this expansion for most players.
Most of the playerbase probably just used crafted weapons all expansion since there’s no reason to use anything else unless you’re a mythic raider or get a mythic track minor upgrade in the vault with the right stats randomly.
I hated being locked into a weapon type for moging during Legion
Having to use a fist weapon as a caster made me sad.

I’d love that, give us more class theme skins. Not only that but it would give Blizzard a chance to correct their mistake since Light’s Wrath in Legion should’ve been Holy’s artifact weapon.

Didn’t they fix that so you can use whatever you want (except for 1-handers on fury and wands) that goes in the slot since then? Or do fist weapons not let you change it?

Thankfully those mog restrictions are gone now. All 2hers can be mogged to each other. Fist weapons can be turned into any 1-hander now thankfully. I think the only outliers left are wands and daggers
Because yeah I feel your pain there. I mained Windwalker during the majority of Legion and hated being restricted to Fist Weapons only while every other 1h user could at least change between swords/axes/maces.
I don’t particularly want another expansion of pigeon-holed weapons for the entire duration.
Can’t transmog a healing mace to any other 1Hander still.

I think they should let us mog between 1h and 2h as well now. You can only do that with legion artifact appearances currently and I see no reason why you shouldn’t just be able to do it with everything. Shield tank classes might be the only issue there but I think you can just play parry animations or something for blocks.

At least you had a still had a shield that showed up when you running around outside of combat. Windwalkers didn’t even get that. An entire expansion of everyone running around showing off their “uber cool” weapons and ours were completely hidden when sheathed.

function, it really is just weapon power fantasy with a talent tree attached
as long as transmog remains as it is, technically it just saves you having to rng yourself a better weapon every week in the vault or rolling against guildies/randos in raids/dungeons
GOD thats a memory unlocked right there. Couldn’t recommend the “StayUnsheathed” Add-on enough for that now. Also great for Shield users like myself. If only I’d known about it back then 
I have filled my vault every week on multiple toons and I’ve not even seen a single weapon. All of my toons use crafted items.
