Well, after 5 years I finally did it. Every Garrison follower

Five long years of grueling weekly routine of:

Recruit Follower from tavern.
Level Follower to 100.
Max Follower’s iLevel
Level Follower’s rarity to Epic.

But this week I finally finished recruiting and maxing out all 299 Garrison Followers!

Sadly, no Achievement for all my efforts…not even a Feat of Strength…

On the plus side, because I had so many to choose from, my entire garrison is Elven ladies. So it all worked out in the end!

299 is the max? So close to an even 300…tell Blizz to add one more!

Are all 299 of them wandering around in your Garrison? If they are it’s got to be a bit crowded.

Once there were less that 3 people left to recruit, slots 2 and 3 showed up empty. And now, when I say I want to recruit someone, there’s just no one on the select screen to pick.

No, just the 25 active ones wander around the garrison. Mine are the 24 BE women + Dark Ranger Velonara.

My garrison followers are my only children…

I figured that’s how it would work. I hadn’t been recruiting faithfully every week, so I still have a ways to go. Shame the NPCs don’t recognize that you have everybody and respond with something indicating that.

Now I’m a little sad I stopped going for this. I wasn’t sure if there was an actual fixed list of followers or if, after a while, it was just randomly generating new NPCs so at some point I lost interest and gave up.

Wow that is impressive. There definitely should be an Achievement. Even a title.

The idea of customizing my Garrison in such a way is intriguing, but extremely daunting.

Spending that much time in the Horde Garrison should be a feat of Strength all its own. (Alliance Garrison > Horde Garrison)

299 is alot. Congrats!

But how could you deactivate that Pandaren Death Knight follower? She is unique. You could have 24 elven ladies walking around and 1 panda overlord to rule them all.

I just assume that the 274 inactive followers go wherever Pokemon go when you stick them in the PC…

Reward: You can pick one to follow you around anywhere in the game as a noncombat pet (think like the Argent Tournament slave child) And they would have things they say from time to time (think like the monk class mount, or zalatath the blade does).
