Specing into W.Ele then going fire or arcane lets you keep the pet, abilities and all. once it dies you cant summon it but as long as it’s alive its fully functional.
Yeah it’s a bug, it happens to me too 
There is another bug related to Arcane Charges, when you generate them using Arcane Orb, the number of charges remain at 4 after you cast Barrage.
