Some of us lived through it and it’s offensive for you make light of it. It’s not something to joke about. We were there when rdf was added to wrath. We experienced what happened not just in Northrend, but Outland and Azeroth too. I can’t say I know much about Katrina but I’m sure it’s nothing compared to what rdf did to World of Warcraft.
I wasn’t joking and never implied that I was.
Really, the only thing I remember was doing far more heroics and gearing up far more alts,

Might want to change the title to RDF and ret room. More ret than RDF tbh lmao.
RDF plus other alt and new player encouragement will improve the game.
If you already have one character at level 80 there should be a way to enjoy only the wrath experience.
We are practically being forced to enjoy wow, wow tbc, and wow wrath in the current leveling experience, this is a very old system from 2008.
Implement a whole set of heirlooms, stackable buffs while leveling, faster mounts or…
bring back rdf.

Doing people a favor in reminding them spam is annoying. Maybe someone will get the hint.
Speak for yourself. I can think of a number of threads where you get flamed for really dumb comments. Heed your own advice.
That must be why you don’t understand that socialization has different forms and levels. Spamming for a group is a very low level of socialization that most of use attach no meaning to. Typing “Thanks for the run,” or “Good group” also is a meaningless form of socialization for most of us. We socialize in our guilds and discord or with friends in real conversations.

That’s an interesting take as I’m a social scientist. But, you’re entitled to your opinion of my commentary and opinions I choose to share.
This being said, the rest of what you wrote has almost nothing to do with the point Drinknblink and I were debating over.
Spam on the forums is spam.
I don’t know who bumped this. But I never actually cared about RDF.
I hated RDF threads. People wouldn’t stop making them. I wanted blizzard to lock the duplicate threads. I couldn’t believe blizzard let this place become overrun.
Obviously blizzard didn’t care because they let me do it for months. I even posted videos of vasectomies and other stuff on threads just to get them flagged. And they didn’t care.
It looks like blizzard is finally locking them and doing their jobs.
TLDR. I made you smoke the whole pack and that is a really bad way to get someone to quit.

So what would be the social science reason for hiding your profile? I’ve given it some thought and the reason I’ve come up with is to hide previous comments. And the only reason for hiding your previous comments is to not get caught lying. So I just assume anyone who hides their profile intends to lie. Can you come up with different reasoning or are you just going to admit you lie here?
