Welcome to Grobbulus: WARNING

Wanting to be free of WPvP situations qualifies as a carebear.

If you want access to more raiders, you’ll have to pay to transfer. You might consider seeing if there are sufficient quality transfers coming here first.

According to EVERYWHERE.PRO Faerlina has like 5 alliance on that said PVP server.

I could take or leave wPVP. My priority is heroic raiding. If I could afford to transfer all my characters, I would have left with everyone else at the beginning of MOP

Glad you’re going to stick around Grob. Your guildie, Exuu, is a big fan of Charax.

5 is a small number. The actually population is large enough that even if you play there regularly it as a main, you wont recognize everybody (or even all guilds).

Whatever that may mean…

It won’t matter much next week anyway.

:woman_shrugging:

You should see arena players when they try to fight in the open world.

Because Arena players don’t spend all their free time collecting cringe world pvp items

Major Copium. I see gladiators getting owned all the time in world PvP.

I see you got your butt beat by a twink in Wpvp one too many times lmfao.

I guess my memory isn’t as good as it used to be… because in my head, the original cinematic trailer was straight up focused on PvP. And the only PvP available in the beginning was world PvP. Tarren Mill vs Southshore was the home of epic battles. There were PvP servers before there were battlegrounds.

The people who think Grobbulus world PvP is just about ganking lowbies in quest zones were definitely not there the night I got my warbear achievement. This is not the PvP you are imagining. Grobb was good times.

First, being an afterthought doesn’t mean you put no development into something. It just means it was an afterthought, an “Oh, let’s add this, it’ll be fun”.

Arguably, they did in Wrath. After TBC you got one area dedicated to it, and that is pretty much it.

This game was built around its PvE. If WPvP had any actual focus placed on it, being something that is kept going, just because it was a feature… WPvP would actually be a hell of a lot better.

(Kind of feel BGs and Arenas are what stopped WPvP from moving past the afterthought level).
