accidentally Started in Temple of Kalabor,Shadowmoon valley by quest to fight against Gul’dan yesterday at 8PM. After enterning Draenor I was inspired by new ambieces to explore more and more. In exploring to make long story short I was dumb enough to settle inkeeper in Anchorite’s Sojourn,Talador as I had heartstone in Stormwind before. I was dumb to do that as 92 lvl noob that I cut my way back to Azeroth by doing that… After doing some quests and taming few new creatures and getting killed many times by lvl 100 creatures clock was around 11PM and I said , time to sleep but first I have to get back to Azeroth. After checking few locations in Shadowmoon valley and Talador I realized that there is no teleport to Azeroth ! THEN I REALIZED THAT MY INKEEPER WAS THERE ALREADY NOT IN STORMWIND ANYMORE. So I googled how to get to Azeroth from Draenor and I found location Ashran,stormshield where teleport was waiting for me to stormwind ! Except fact that I was in Shadowmoon valley and this island was away. First I entered Talador,got chased and killed by mobs many times,but I also killed special mobs( they have star on map idk) I got pretty good loot ! by doing that my weapon and armor went to 21/100… Once I entered Iron Front, Tanaan Jungle I haven’t fought any mob but try to escape by dying on the way and resurrecting little bit far away from corpse in hope that I was safe ! Then I entered Ruins of Kra’nak, I saw this poor draenei trapped in prisons of fel by some red birds or raptorbirds ? I died 10 times there as I had to run thru mobs and they would cc me … :(
then I entered Ironhold Harbor, I found one flymaster there but for nothing, no one who could repair my weapon,not even a hut to rest in. I run entire Ironhold camp getting killed 10 times at least my weapon was 10/100. Then I entered The Fel Forge, this was true mystery for me, I even got battle pet there ! not much of a trouble from green wolves. I finally reached Volmar, easily sneak thru dumb mobs and JUMPED into the sea ! I saw it, the land ! the light into the darkness! The land Ashran , the land where I could find teleport, the land where I could fix my weapon and even sit ! Land where I could stable pets so I could have 1 pet instead of 5 in my bar! Land where I could sell my items with filled bags. I have arrived and I felt it is time to go to sleep now,safely! Once I entered Stormshield I went into first house put character into sleep shut downed laptop and peacefully went to bed thinking that it was a fun journey !
Thank you blizzard for not giving me any option but let me walk all over this lands just to reach safe place ! This is what makes game interesting, if I don’t had to walk that much and there was tp or rest zone everywhere I would play 2 hours less instead of 9 and I would have gottten to sleep !

Of all the posts ever made on this board, this is certainly one of them.
I always get the guild cloak that ports you to your major city. It helps in times like this. If in draenor, you should have a garrison that flies you to ashram Island and ports, and also a Dalaran port. You should find the quests for all that stuff.
All else’s fails, you can always beg a lock or mage to port you back.
There’s this newfangled thing in writing called ‘paragraphs’. You should read up on it.

How when I haven’t discovered it yet and it was first time on land?
Not being snide, I think there is literally a warning label you have to click through when you start WoD. Something to the effect of “you will not be able to return to Azeroth for a long time”
I believe the reason for this was to reinforce the idea that you had traveled an extremely long way from home.
If I hadn’t earned flight all those years ago, I’d have been in the same boat as you, Cutthemdown.
Once you build the Garrison there will be a quest to take a flight directly to Ashran. You’ll always have this FP.

Faction change but web is still living in my past
you can change the character you use for posting. you have to go to your profile and change it. since most people have multiple characters, sometimes on multiple realms, this feature is there so you can post under a chosen toon.
Three years later and being a 120 no less really doubt the topic creator is coming back to read this thread.
