Wekemara Way Too Easy

Last weeks world boss in Nazajtar was a nice difficulty for a world boss…it wasnt too hard, it wasnt too easy, you had at least a chance to die.

This weeks is like…you might drop to 90% health for 2 seconds…at most. And you pretty much dont even have to move.

This is they type of thing that contributes to killing community in this game. Standing there like a zombie going through my dps rotation while having no threat to dying with a pack of random players, and the fight lasts maybe 1 minute.

Seriously all that was missing was the “Ages 3+” sticker beside its name.

World bosses have been on a downward descent ever since MoP made them weekly lockouts like typical instanced raids.

last week was hard especially for melee

Most of my characters are melee, it was not hard if you did the mechanics, which was just avoiding the AOEs… which is exactly what makes it more fun, doing mechanics instead of hitting a boss like a target dummy.

Last weeks World Boss was like Oondasta 2.0.

It was kind of funny, but rather frustrating; especially since all the effects and people made FPS drop to a standstill at points.

For the record, i didn’t die to it… at least not on this character; but I was in a healing spec.

Not even close… cmon man. Oondasta wiped 2 full 40 man raid groups consistently in MoP.

I did last weeks raid boss without much of an issue even with 30 people.

Every single group I joined, 99% of the people in the group died at least once. Which I suppose is a breath of fresh air, after no World Bosses being that deadly… outside of Azurethos.

It’s good to hear you had such an easy time with it, but the difficulty disparity between the 2 World Bosses (for most players) is quite a large gap.

If you want boss fights with mechanics, world bosses aren’t going to do that for you very well. Try raiding.

Most World Bosses do have mechanics; the major difference between the Trio and the rest of the World Bosses though, is that the Trio hits like a truck and is very unforgiving.

Which is why Im giving feedback on saying that world bosses need to be harder. You shouldn’t HAVE to raid just to get some difficulty in this game. Its pretty sad. Its one of, if not the biggest reason why there is no community in this game anymore. You just click a button to que into a group for the boss and no one says a word, everyone just attacks it like zombies and then leaves after the minute of whacking the loot pinata. That isn’t fun at all.

Last week’s was just right ?

Every group I did people died repeatedly - almost throughout the entire fight more people were dead than alive. Of course you are hunter so you could avoid a bunch of crap but there is no way that boss was just ‘right’.

Why have mechanics if you dont have to follow them? They might as well have just stuck a giant Target Dummy on the spot for people to hit for a minute and then have a chance to get a free piece of gear.

You don’t, you can also do m+. The problem is most non raiders want the world content to be easy. They make a world boss people actually have to communicate or have a certain dps threshhold for and the forums would burn.

I play survival, as well as other melee classes, I was right in there with the melee more than one character, it wasnt difficult to avoid the AOEs of the bosses if the tanks moved them away from each other, although it at least gave a bit of engagement. In fact, most of the time I didnt even have to pay attention to the mechanics on that fight either since the AOEs were going off in a different area than I was, while I still did damage.

If you want mechanics just go and raid. Never understand why people who claim they want challenge just don’t go do challenging content ‘for their chance a 415’ gear.

Just saying that the mechanics shouldn’t 1-shot people.

Trio hits too hard, Wekemara hits too soft… so the correct choice is to balance both so they’re medium in difficulty.

My point stands, you shouldnt HAVE to raid to have content that is a little engaging. Thats ridiculous to say that.

It is ridiculous to expect the entire game to have ‘challenging’ content because people like you refuse to do the challenging content already in the game.

Not gonna lie, just did Wekemara and I’d have to agree, it was way too easy.

I stood in one spot the entire time and didn’t move once. Any time my health took a small dip it was immediately back at full again so I didn’t really feel like I had to dodge anything.

I don’t think they should be on par with raid bosses or anything, but if you have to get a decent chunk of people together to down something, it should at least be a little engaging imo.
