Weird things you do in WoW?

I’ve made a thread like this before, but i’m doing it again because I enjoyed the last one.

What are some weird, or silly things you do in the game?

Whenever I happen to get lead in LFR or a Warfront, ill always say random weird stuff in raid warning.

I send steamy romance novels to random ppl in the mail. I also try to sell them in trade chat.

I never gank, but I love messing around with the lowbies of the enemy faction. I like to jump out of stealth in front of them to scare them. I also follow them around while they’re questing, just to make them feel uncomfortable.

Edit: Oh, and I also have a weird transmog obsession. If I get a piece of gear that’s better than mine while im in a dungeon/raid, ill wait to put it on until after im out of the instance so I can transmog my new piece.

What about you guys?

Oh, the same thing a lot of people do on Moon Guard in Goldshire Inn.

I buff random players, and thank others for help during world quests. Ever once in a while, I say “Hi” whenever I’m in LFR/LFD.

Totally weird behavior nowadays.

Me too pal, me too… We’re both weirdos here.

I say “Hi” everytime im in a LFR or LFD. 50% of the time nobody ever says “Hi” back :frowning:

I like to follow low-lvl Horde and help them kill things. If in WM, I’ll follow them around for laughs.

While playing a class with buffs, I’ll run through Boralus or SW, buffing everyone I pass…even if they’re the same class and already have the buff…lol

back when i used to wait on boats at the stormwind docks, i would compulsively ice lance the seagulls there.

I play on Moon Guard even though I never RP. When I’m on my Alliance toons, I never respond to whispers because even though MG people are nice, sometimes they’re also a bit freaky.

I obsessively repair my gear. So often it’s usually costs like 1g or less.

I do this too. To me it’s beyond embarrassing for my gear to go red. I don’t know why.

Also, I can’t leave stuff in the mailbox.

Same here. I’ll /greet and very rarely get any response at all. Did it the other day in a warfront and got a couple of replies, which was nice. Ended up being made the leader somehow. “I’m the leader? Aaah! How did that happen? We’re all gonna die!” and got some laughs.

Ended up saying silly things the entire time, was fun. “Ok, here’s the plan. Go do the stuff, with the things.” “Fly, my minions!”

I never pug anymore, because I get stuck with [censored] [elided] [deleted]s who pull half the dungeon when I’m out of mana as the healer, and then blame me, or stand in fire and blame me, or when I’m tanking get in front of the stuff and get cleaved in twain and blame me… or if I’m DPS, never heal me from AOE damage so I get killed…

I miss the older days when people were at least slightly patient, instead of just GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! “You don’t massively outlevel this dungeon and have no need for the gear?” /kick from the group!

My guild’s more or less dead, nobody’s ever on, every time I get in any kind of group it’s just jerks, Blizzard keeps taking away abilities… I guess the weirdest thing I do is ‘continue to play’.

I have a mod (At least one; there’s some overlap) that does it for me, whenever I open a vendor’s UI that can repair. I haven’t seen the little armor guy in years because of that. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m the same with my mail. If something shows up I will drop what I’m doing and go to the nearest mailbox.

I also do the drive by buffing when I’m on my Priest.

When horde make me really mad
I go to the barrens
With my rogue
And i sap them for days
then i wait
Then i keep saping them.

That is Hella hot, Hella (see what did there?)

Do you mean the gray item ones in the game, or you “write” one(as an in game mail) and put it in the mail system?

The guy who got me into wow in 2005 used to go to the human n00b zone on his troll rogue (I think it was… long time ago. :P) and drop explosive sheep in the flock of sheep around there. Harmless, but the game at that point was teaching new players that if you see something with a :gear: icon to rightclick on it, and at that low level…
KABOOM!
(/Demoman)
Much hilarity was had.
