Outlaw is one of the best 2v2 dps, and Survival is the best. Neither is off-meta in the slightest. Unless by off-meta you mean bad, and there aren’t very many bad specs right now.
Blood Death Knight, perhaps? I imagine you can do funny stuff to people with all the grips, like kidnap immobile targets, especially healers. Grip, chains, grip, chains, etc.
Protection Warrior can also Press Avatar and lock a lot of people down with Thunderclap roots, which I can think can be good in those giant deathball scenarios you’ll see in epic battleground chokepoints. It also has dragon charge with a big knockback, warbringer with an aoe charge root, and you can go either NF for the aoe slam or Kyrian for the spear.
I’ll probably be trying Prot Warrior soon, it seems fun.
The next thing on my list is Arcane, though. I want to throw an Arcanosphere across an Alterac Valley bridge like a bowling ball and see 10+ players die or get blown off. Not sure which covenant would be best. Maybe Venthyr for mirrors? Or kyrian? Thoughts?
