Weird disconnection issue

Ever since 9.2 came out, sometimes I just stop interacting with the world (cant cast spells, cant interact with npcs) but chat still works for some reason, i can still chat to other players. This happens multiple times in a relatively short range of time.

It has gotten better since 9.2 release throughout the days without me even doing anything (id disconnect every minute or so) but still cant play properly without getting screwed in whatever im doing at the moment. I can safely say that id get disconnected at least twice when doing Zereth Mortis world quest, so you may picture how is my experience; some other times though, I may be crafting for more than an hour without getting disconnected. As a matter of fact, I get disconnected the most while actively playing the game

ive read in other threads that it may be some issue with my home network, but my WinMTR statistics are significantly different compared to other players who have reported this issue. I tried deleting cache, removing addons, uninstalling and reinstalling the game (which may have helped a bit, dc’s are not that often now, at least while crafting, but still really bad), and Im connected directly to the modem, not router (though there is a router connected to the modem simultanously). Nothing solves the problem though.

Maybe it is my isp and not my home network?

I ran this for like 10+ minutes without even dc’ing, not even lagging (which I normally dont). But I feel this is a rather weird statistics that may be worth sharing and cast some light on my issue.

You are describing what I have ben seeing since the 9.2 please mostly in Zeroth Mortis.
And since I am on a Mac and did tech work before I retired I can state that the problem isn’t your home network and probably not your computer, etc… I ran all kinds of tests and nothing is found.
Pinging blizzard.com give an average 72 ms. So the path is open.
But when I start having the problem it gets worse and doesn’t resolve until I actually quit the game and reconnect.
Then it seems to run OK for a while and the problem comes back.
It also doesn’t seem to matter where I am or what I am doing when it happens.
Of note, I didn’t have this problem before patch 9.2. The only irritating issue was entering an area I hadn’t been in and waiting up to a minute for the zone to load, of hovering in the air appearing to run at a flight point.
I suspect it is a world server issue as I can leave Zeroth Mortis and come back to Shadowlands or Korthia and not have the problem.

In these cases I would look to system diagnostic files for the cause. Examining the error reporting sections of your DxDiag and/or your MSInfo is the best place to start. Note: You have to export an MSInfo to see errors, Windows does not display them in the graphic UI.
