I got a strange debuff on this character this morning called “Blizzard” and it says “You are near a Blizzard stone”. It started when I hearthed from Tanaris to my Garrison and it was so bad that I couldn’t even see while I was flying. No matter where I went, this debuff followed me and couldn’t be clicked off.
I finally decided to take off all my gear, fly high and drop to my death (crazy Paladin!) and luckily, that broke it and it’s gone, but I’m left wondering…
Any ideas of where I picked this up? I want to make sure to not get it again and a desert is a strange place to pick up a Blizzard.
Well, I’ve been no where near Pandaria on ANY of my characters in over a month but considering how many weird, random bugs are happening right now, nothing would surprise me.
The stone says it has a 10 minute countdown and there was no countdown on my buff screen and it certainly stuck to me longer than 10 minutes. I have nothing like that in my bags (on ANY of my characters) and it took me flying up to the ceiling of the game and dropping to my death to remove it.
Again, nothing would surprise me tho at this point. Thanks for looking it up for me.
I’ve honestly never used one, but I think someone can use it and it impacts people around it. The aura it gives seems to match your description. Thinking it might’ve bugged out when you hearthed to where the aura became permanent temporarily.
Strange things are afoot at Blizzard these days, including the “Blizzard” debuff. Halloween is over Blizz 
(or maybe a player decided to prank me)! Once again, thank you. It does seems to fit my description, I’m open to any other interpretations out there.
