Hello, recently I’ve been having some really strange connection issues in WoW. Some pre-text, I recently moved houses and in the move, went from a wired connection to a wireless one. The first week I had no issues whatsoever. Now, about every 1-2 hours in game, my connection seems to randomly boot me offline on my whole PC. Like, I check on the task bar/settings and it says I have no connection. However, when I close the game, suddenly my wifi reconnects and everything is working perfectly. Re-opening the game causes the same issue to occur instantly this time. It only fixes itself properly once I fully restart my pc, but then in another hour or two, it happens again. I’m not sure how to go about diagnosing this issue, or what it could possibly be because it’s such a strange issue.
My PC specs are:
Ryzen 7950X3D
ASRock B650M Pro
64Gb (4x16) TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta Ram
Samsung 990 Pro
RTX 4070 Ti SUPER
AX210NGW DTK WiFi Card

Edit: Some things I’ve tried are, re-installing/manually updating wifi drivers, no addons, re-slotting my wifi card on my mobo
I have not, I will try calling them. I also want to add another thing, another person in my house doesnt play WoW but still games, he has had no issues in other games, even blizzard games like Overwatch.
Sometimes just one device can be set to release/renew. It could also be network management software on your computer. For instance, if you have WiFi and Ethernet enabled at the same time on Windows 11, the OS can sometimes do a lil check if the other is on, which can cause a disconnection.
update: seems to be getting worse. i called my isp, they said there isnt a setting that auto refreshes my IP. going to try reinstalling the game.
edit: seems to be happening in all blizzard games for me now. overwatch is also not working properly. tried going into a practice range, seems like the connection kept cycling. putting me in and out of the range until it finally disconnected.
perhaps it’s something to do with connecting to blizzard services for some reason
edit2: potentially final update. almost positive it is a faulty wifi card. Ran a speed test (which i did before) and got MUCH lower than my rated speeds. then ran an ethernet cable through my whole house to my PC, perfect speeds and connection doesnt seems to die anymore while in game.
