Weekly Vaults should give us 1 item per category

Seriously… If I spend my time between PVP, raiding and Mythic +, why can I only get 1 item per week and I have to choose which of the 3 areas I want… while the other 2 lose out.

That just doesn’t seem right to me.

Right now I have 9 loot chances on my main from Vault for Tuesday, they are all full. and I have to pick only one item from the 3 different types of game play?

Why? Why not allow us to gear for ALL the gameplay ways we like to play and put our effort and time into?

They probably would like to. But they know that many people will rush to complain about being “forced” to do content in order to get more gear from the vault.

Absolutely not. People would gear up in two to three weeks.
Nope.

I’d agree with getting one choice for PvE loot and one for PvP loot, but that’s it.

That’s my guess. Raiders already feel required to do M+, with this they would feel required to add PVP.

Any method of improving your ilevel week to week gets the ‘mandatory’ tag.

Because devs put the GV in as bad luck protection. They purposely disregard the issue of M+ loot being inflated and the primary source for people gearing up, or that drop rates in general are terrible so players look forward to the vault as their best source of loot instead of a “bonus” as it was intended to be.

In devs’ minds, players should be gearing up plenty while filing out the vaults, so choosing one more item for that week’s playtime is good enough.

If anything m+ and raid need combined so people don’t feel required to M+ for vault and vice versa.

Let your highest content of the two determine your loot ilvl. Yes I know raiders would just M+ for 447 but if they didn’t have to extend because they can’t reclear fast it wouldn’t be a thing.

whats wrong with that?

Player retention would drop off as players reach their goals and stop playing weeks earlier than planned.

thats where engaging world content comes in

Terrible idea. People would be geared way too quickly.

and why is that bad. Are you insinuating that once people have gear they stop paying?

Considering most services are two tokens in-game wise to get a AOTC carry.

oh wait, tis sunday.

The vague phrase that has never been shown to work?

Many people stop playing once they have their gear.

Many people stop playing when their toon is BiS and usually cancels their membership until next season.

When you don’t feel you have a sense of progression (in this case gear) you stop playing.

That would drastically lower the odds of a specific item to be in the vault. Not sure I would like that. I like the anvil where it is. I doubt it would be there if the vault slots were merged.

instead of the weekly Vault giving 1 item per category, i’d like a mid season vendor that takes a special traders coin. the coin is sold for 12 vault tokens.

you spend the special coin for one max gear track trinket, Very Rare, or Tier slot item of your choice.

the Trinkets are the ones from both Raid, M+ and PVP (though atm those are not super specials like the shadowlands ones)

i would also rather have a Vendor added that sells you tri stat upgrades for gear. let us put leech, speed, avoidance on out gear vs needing to RNG it

Ummm, would it though? Your odds to get a specific item you actually want are astronomically low regardless.

Sounds a lot like dinars. Two weeks per coin.

Yeah, maybe 2 selections. 1 for PVP and 1 for Raids/M+(PVE) - Doesn’t seem right that players need to choose between the 2.
