Title. Just continuing my weekly push for this change when TBC drops. When 2019 classic was a thing I ended up deleting the rogue I was playing and remade him because my favorite race in lore are Blood Elves. This felt horrible as losing all the progress I made on that character sucked, but I wanted the name, and I wouldn’t be playing that character anymore regardless. Please give us the option for a race change into the new races with restrictions. They will be as follows:
- You can only race change to the new races
- Said race change can only happen during the tbc pre patch
- Only Paladins and Shamans may switch faction
This will allow those who want to play the new races during TBC access to them without allowing FOTM race rerolling, and will also prevent players from faction hoping. With these restrictions the game will not be negatively effected what so ever, and us Draenei/Blood Elf enjoyers don’t lose a year of character progress.
