Who was the genius ( sarcasm ) that thought it would be a good idea to put in a battle pets weekly quest when a VAST majority of players dont touch battle pets… you guys just love screwing your player base dont you? good ol blizzard. I can imagine the meetings now… " What can we do this week to really piss off our player base even further? Suggestions??"
maybe if yall spent more time touching the game instead of your employees, this game would be the great game it once was. Hopefully the microsoft acquisition of blizzard will help pull your heads out of your fifth point of contact.
The battle pets has always been in the rotations. Like the PvP one I just skip it when it’s the pets. Depending on your gear level the same for some of the other weeklies too.
Pvp doesnt have the same barrier to entry that battle pets do, you can lfg pvp, you cant lfg yourself to a full team of level 25 pets.
I remember trying the pet battles when it first went into the game and saw it was a HUGE time sink. I stopped doing it until near the end of Warlords of Drainor when a guild member showed how one quest could give you a stone to level a pet to 25. Then you could buy level 25 pets on the auction house. With a few 25’s I got into doing some of the world quest battles and leveling pets but stopped again next expansion.
I think I didn’t do much till I noticed you could get extra rep doing some of the pet battles in Legion and Battle for Azeroth.
