Vanished for me right before heading to orb to hand in, still had 3 hours on server time. Bug report in-game lead me here not that i have much hope for a remedy but this was really messed up considering i spend the past few hours grinding mythics for this specific quest only to have it disappear before my eyes & couldnt turn in…
Honestly, it was shattering to just sit and do four mythics straight and have my efforts be made insignificant right before my eyes.

Chiming in to say it happened to my warrior as well. Would love to hear reasoning as to why the weekly emissary ends hours prior to the weekly reset.
Completed 4th mythic with ‘hours to spare’. Went to hand it in and it was gone.
This is pretty weak for Oceanic realms as the quest vanished in the middle of our evening playtime, ie when we’re running dungeons - not at weekly reset as anticipated or the time listed in the calendar.
Yeah, this was not on the hour for me either. And it’s obviously hours before actual reset.

Same thing happened to me, guess I should have used my crystal ball to know that it would end hours before reset lol

I’d point out that your own help article is contradicting this post:
The calendar specificed the event ends 5 hours later than it did, and your help article says:
The calendar indicates when exactly an event expires. Calendar descriptions are in Server Time. The weekly quest will automatically be removed from your quest log as soon as the weekly event ends.
Once the weekly event ends, Customer Support cannot provide quest rewards if you didn’t hand in the quest in time. During the event, Customer Support cannot restore quest progress if you abandon the quest accidentally.
The calendar clearly states the event ends at 4AM server time. It ended at 10/11PM server time for Oceanic realms. This is not 4AM. Toggling the “Use local time” in the calendar/clock interface in game to instead, use Server time, does not alter Oceanic server time to 4AM under any conditions. Oceanic server time is listed in game as AEDST time/Sydney time.
You should provide accurate information in the in-game calendar if you intend to penalise people who plan around the information you provide. Where in game is it indicated that this event was set to end 5 hours early for Oceanic players who play the game at prime time on a Tuesday night?

Yeah, same happened to me, last dungeon, and the quest just disappeared. hopefully gets fixed, really disappointing

Yep happened to me too, finished my 3rd and the quest disappeared. Did my 4th and no credit was given nor am I able to turn it in.
I know we’re not going to be compensated for it, we’re just gonna be told to suck it up but to lose the 213 piece on the first week is a real kick in the teeth…

Same here. Just finished my 4th dungeon went back to oribus to get my reward and the quest is gone out of my log. the quest giver doesn’t have a quest for me. Can a GM return my lost items for this quest?
I don’t even think the in-game calendar times are server time. On my oceanic server it says the event ends 4am 22 Dec for me, and that was over 12 hours ago local time but I clearly had the quest an hour ago.
So even if I am supposed to look at the in-game calendar, it’s using the wrong timezone and doesn’t say so.
same here. made the effort to complete it… oribos… no quest. pretty sure i know dates/times… and… it runs on the same calendar as the maldraxxus time. or does it? shafted again blizz. going to give us this? check my achs for the mythic dungeons. i did them.
