Can we not revert the only good change you guys made to Mythic+ for the expansion?
1 step forward 3 steps back.
Like who asked? The universal response when this was figured out early in SL and I brought it up to people was “oh that’s really nice”.
Please stop openly player antagonistic game design.
That’s my problem with it. No one wanted this. No one asked for it to be reverted. It was a non-issue.
If it ain’t broke, Blizz is gonna fix it.
Yeah.
I usually can see the reason in most changes Blizzard do - I can disagree with them, but I understand why they do it.
This one… it’s just backwards, and punishes everyone who didn’t get KSM already. It also screws the highest Keystone pushers.
makes me think the way it’s been working all tier was a mistake.
either way, it was good. I wish they weren’t reverting it.
More bad changes by Blizzard.
Can someone explain? What happened?
Agreed. Don’t make this change. No one wants this.
Where are seeing the notes of M+ degradation ? Nothing is under dungeon and raids
Is how I would put it.
I am also confused. I hope someone will link something or explain.
This is one of those times when I really wish we could ask, “What is your design goal with this change? Is there a more player-friendly way to achieve that goal?” Because honestly, sometimes it feels like antagonizing the playerbase IS the only goal.
I was dreading this was going to happen because “blizzard”.
basicly how keystone works right now you get the keystone from your weekly vault each week base on the highest keystone you’ve done for the season. They changed it back to bfa where it’ll depend on the highest keystone you’ve done for the week
It’s in the 9.0.5 patch notes.
Mythic Keystone Dungeons
- The formula for determining the level of the first Mythic Keystone players receive each week has been adjusted.
- Previously, players would always receive a Keystone 1 level below the highest they’d completed so far in Season 1.
- After this change, Keystone level will continue to decrease by 1 per week until players again complete a higher level Keystone.
- For example, a player who completes a level 15 Keystone will receive a level 14 Keystone the following week. If they do not complete a 15 or higher Keystone that week, they will receive a level 13 Keystone the week after.
Thanks , so you take a few weeks off you screwed huh . Sounds like typical BLizzard
Can someone please fill me in on what’s changing?
Edit: found it 2 posts above.
I… just don’t get it. I cannot for the life of me figure out why Blizzard is so hell-bent on making M+ terrible.
