Weekly catalyst charges when?

Soooo when will the weekly catalyst charges come back?

We’re well into the .5 patch and are quickly approaching the .7 patch, and we’re still stuck with a bi-weekly catalyst charge. At this point in prior seasons we had a weekly catalyst charge, so what’s the hold up?

Some us just want to finish some class set xmogs…

Seconding this, where is the weekly catalyst?

Same! If the 2 week iteration holds, I’ll be able to finally wear my myth tier pieces in like a month and a half. Kinda dumb at this point in the season to have gear you got from your vault sitting there fully upgraded cause you don’t wanna break tier.

Agreed, I don’t understand why this hasn’t been changed yet. And I’m honestly surprised there isn’t more discussion about this and it isn’t being acknowledged.

I’m looking at waiting a month and a half to finish some LFR/Normal variants of the class tier sets. It’s not even for power, I just want to finish up some xmogs here…

Agreed. Or at least put PvP and PvE onto seperate charges. So awful that we have to choose between the two.

i hope 11.0.7

It hasn’t even been acknowledged at all, and 11.0.7 is right around the corner. It looks like it might not even be in the cards this season, which would be a massive L.

i made a 2nd pally and druid so i could get the lfr and normal tint. i geared up to fast and used to many charges on them so i was never gonna be able to get them and the lfr tint is the most important since it takes forever to go back and get if you miss it

Yup, exactly. LFR is a PITA to finish the mogs for. Smart to do a second character to speed it up, but Blizz should just unlock the weekly catalyst already (y’know, like how it worked before).

All my alts have all the veteran pieces they need for the lfr/norm tints, including all the flightstones and crests to upgrade them. It sucks waiting weeks to get the next part of the xmog.

luckily after season end you can still catalyst gear from that season and it’s free and you can do it infinitely. you cant upgrade it with season end but the weekly 584 gear from the weekly boxes you can save and when season ends and you have unfinished LFR sets you can catalyst those saved gear pieces for free. my alts 490 gear from the azeroth event can all be catalyst rn even. and it’s been a thing since SL

Yes, but getting your hands on the veteran pieces in season 2 once season 1 starts is a pain, and then on top of that you can’t upgrade them for the easy normal recolor as well. It becomes significantly harder post-season to get those tints.

well then keep doing those 2 weeklies for 584 gear. you still got time and you can get a full set more than likely.

I mean, I stated I have the 584 gear. I don’t have the catalyst charges. Looking at waiting until mid-January to finish the sets because they haven’t unlocked the weekly catalyst charges (like they’ve done in every other prior season). It seems like a massive oversight, and it’s not fun sitting around waiting to finish a mog or set when you’ve already done the hard part of getting all the pieces and the crests/flightstones to upgrade 'em.

This is ridiculous that it isn’t a weekly charge at this point. I have lots of characters with gear just sitting in bags waiting for conversion.

Thank you! You get it! I’ve got like 4 characters with 3-4+ pieces just sitting there waiting to finish a mog. It’s ridiculous.

90$ mount is your answer.

Maybe we’ll see changes once Siren Ilse comes. Hoping for weekly catalyst charges and uncapped crests.

Yeah but the Siren Isle is out what, in a few weeks? And there’s absolutely no mention of a weekly catalyst charge in any of the information for it…

If the intention was to not swap to a weekly catalyst charge mid-season then Blizzard should have been up front about it.

They should just put the tier gear on a vendor for crests and be done with it. They are regressing back into their systems mind set where they try to make a system for every single little thing.

Yea I’m losing hope.
