So this week is the pet battle weekly that rewards a lvl 25 stone.
I just noticed you can only do it once per account ? All other weeklys are doable on multiple characters. Pretty lame or am I missing something ?

you used to be abel to log over characters and it would re-appear, and sometimes disappear from your log if you didn't complete it in one sitting
I think its intended that you are only awarded 1x ultimate battle stone per week really

Jeez blizz really dont want us to get anything easy with battle pets this expansion, heh.
Unless they changed it from last time, it is available to all characters over 110. The exclamation point doesn't show up over the quest givers head after you completed the first one. But the quest is still available.
For sub 120, you have to go back to Dalaran to get it.
Again, this is what happened last time it was up. I haven't done it this week, so it could have changed.

Its not available from the journal, and I didnt see an exclamation on the quest giver, but I didnt go up to him to check.
It would appear you are correct. After finishing it on my warlock, I can't pick it up on any other character. Very odd since I can't think of any other weekly that works like that.

Legion's Dalaran still gives the quest for the Weekly Event. If you're facing the Violet Hold he's to your left in front of the water.

The pet weekly from the Garrison Menagerie, one where you have to defeat 5 Trainers, is once-per-account.
This was apparently bugged for years, sometimes more that one of your toons could get it in one week but was erratic. Still, was a good bug for a change. Last few months Blizzard seems to have finally gotten it working the way it was intended.

I’m talking about the one from this week, that you can pick up in Zuldazar temple close to the boat, or directly from the journal. The 120 weekly that’s on a rotation. This week is battle pet week.
I understand why its 1 per account, while other weeks let you do it per character, the rewards are usually soulbound so it makes a lot more sense. If you could gear one character in (350?) gear by running the weekly on all your alts, that would be pretty broken.

Please tell us more about this pet battle quest that rewards level 350 gear.

The upgrade token is soulbound, although I understand what you are getting at.
But we have always been able to run the weekly on several characters up until this week. It would have been nice to know they had changed it.

Last time the quest rolled around, I was able to complete it on all of my level 100+ alts. This time, I checked after completing it on my sole 120 main, and none of my others can pick it up.
Sigh. It's not like it would be game-breaking to have multiple stones when this rolls around.

The pet weekly quest, when available, is located next door to the transmogrifier in zuldazar. The quest giver is a tortollan.
More like the monthly pet quest. Sometimes bimonthly.
I might sympathize, but I think one ultimate level battle-stone is plenty. Can’t have everything handed to you. I bought a bunch of ultimate battle stones before the currency change at the end of Legion. I still have them all. I used a lot of family specific leveling stones on some, and if you promise not to tell, I actually like leveling my pets by doing carry pets through trainers.

I wouldn’t exactly call winning 5 pvp battles to get a ultimate leveling stone once a month “having everything handed to you.” That’s still a reasonable expenditure of time and effort, time-gated by the limited availability of the quest. And it’s not that game-breaking to extend the ability to get these stones to once per alt per lockout… after all, there’s so many other things you can do per alt, provided you put in the time and energy.
Let’s face it–most of us, given the chance, will probably just powerlevel pets through Squirt or Sir Galveston or whatever other quick-and-easy method is available anyway. Getting the ultimate stones just streamlines a process that we’ve already mastered hundreds of times over…

Neither would I. But I would say expecting to get this reward on each and every one of your toons is having everything handed to you.
You want ultimate stones? Go get the pet charms together and buy them. I think ultimately just doing the Draenor circuit would be less time consuming than collecting the 60 stones to buy an Ultimate Stone.
