10 arena skirmish wins? Really?
BARF… there goes 10 tokens I won’t be bothering with.
no sarcasm, congrats to those that love to do arenas. but honestly, I think this is about the worst weekly you could get.

God forbid they just make them drop from everything so everybody can get their due doing what they actually want to do.
Next week it’s tbc time walking, I think us non pvpers will live
I don’t like arenas either, but I’m still going to do it. There’s nothing to lose other than a bit of time. And I play WoW. My time is already pretty cheap.
Man wouldn’t it have been great if the anniversary event had events inside the anniversary area that had booths with dailies that awarded bronze?
But nah the easy and cheap thing to do is just make people do their current content chores, the same ones they were doing before and after this event is over. Because that’s requires zero effort.
It’s also what a lot of players seem to want. That’s kind of the crux of this thread, even. Someone upset that they’d have to do arenas for tokens, presumably something outside of what they usually do, presumably because they don’t like arenas/pvp.
But as an aside, there’re still the anniversary activities that do give tokens as well. It’s just that they’re also mostly weeklies. And it was effort to create the whole anniversary pavilion. They just didn’t assign bronze as a reward for those minigames.
I like the current system tbh but in general i think I’m too happy about WoW to be allowed on this forum anymore
Not me! I don’t PvP nor do I feel like I have to. Never will.
I also don’t need/want every last thing being sold for tokens. I’ll get like 3 things tops and be done.
Just made toke=ns 10x easier and ppl still find a way to complain because of 1 quest they don’t like
Yea, it’s basically, if you’re not an avid pvper, you’re queuing up and hoping you get a 2v1 cuz someone discos, cuz otherwise you’re going to get wrekt in pve gear.
Can take a while.
Here’s the thing: you have to be level 80 to fully participate and get as much bronze as everyone else.
Wouldn’t be that way if they would have done every thing inside the event and the queued content and WBs scaled like it did in MoP Remix.
So, yes and no.
My problem with an arena weekly is that, while I am perfectly capable of trying them and hit my head against the wall until I get 10 wins, I am not prepared for it.
So that means, I am entering a content that I know I am going to ruin for someone else. Someone who has the gear for it and probably won’t want me as a partner in the match.
I don’t like that.
But it’s what it is, this is how it goes, not all weeks can be gold. I get it.
With that being said, I am of the opinion that it would’ve been better to have it be Epic BGs instead.
It’s still a legitimate complaint, and brought more value to the forums than your 100% useless comment trying to sound cool.
I totally get this feeling of responsibility towards others and find it commendable. Do some sparks of war quests and get bloody tokens any way you can, they can be quickly done with very minimal pvp and get you most of the way to a decent starter pvp set. I just did arena pvp yesterday for the first time basically and have not pvped in general much since Cata. it went very smoothly.
Yeah I should be grateful that they patched it to be the way it should’ve been on release.
They could’ve made it worse after all so we’re all blessed that Blizzard decided to make the bronze tokens less of a chore.
they should just have spend xx time in game = get your weeklies / whatever rewards…
What if you really like fishing or gathering? I never seen any fish up 100 fish or collect 100 nodes of resource… Or if you are really a good gamer dad, sit idle afk in a city for an hour to profit
Idk, I’m not sure it’s actually possible for me to get 10 arena wins
I’m 100% in the same boat as you. Hard pass.
But if I had to guess, perhaps they hoped it would be a way to get some people to branch out into other things/leave the comfort zone.
I’m sure the pvp’ers love all the dragon slayers dragging them down in these skirmishes.
and I have to win? ha!
