While everyone else is walking around in almost all T1 or at least 1 piece of raid gear.
Why? Because Blizzard didn’t increase loot drops from raid bosses. Most likely won’t see a piece of raid gear due to bad rng with what drops and/or with rolls.
Will just raid log since there is also nothing else to do beside come on, raid and get no loot.
Oh boy! Don’t tell me you played like 12h a day during 3 straight weeks, to end with the same gear of lazy players that are only now reaching level 60?
We have to let that tinkling walk in downtown Orgri for another day, ain’t we?
Let me guess, you picked warrior because ‘muh warrior is best in pve top dps’, so now you realised you have to compete with other 20 warrios, 5 rogues, 2 hunters, which is a total of 27 idiotts rolling for your gear LMAO bwahahahaha.
That’s what you get for chosing wrong , next time be smarter.
RNG being what it is, they could have increased the drop chances and you could still not get any gear. That’s how it goes.
With that said, you really should consider adjusting your expectations for your Vanilla WoW gameplay experience or you’re just going to have a rotten time going forward. This is the core problem with all of the QoL changes that went into the Anniversary realm changes… they really cater to tourism. If all you want to do is collect BiS and then quit, your time in Azeroth has an expiry date. Depending on what QoL features Blizzard adds, this might shift to sooner or it might shift to later, but with those expectatiosn that end will come.
There are lots of games that operate like that. Retail is definitely one of them. A lot of folks like to knock retail but honestly, it still delivers some really good experiences that align a lot more closely with that tourist gameplay approach. Vanilla doesn’t. You’re expected to invest yourself in the game, its world, and the communities that players form within them. If that’s not interesting to you honestly, no judgement here, but you should ask yourself… why do you want to play this version of the game?
Now I do realize that these servers themselves have a shelf life, but we don’t really know what they’re for. Are they a TBC waiting room or are they just a fast tour through all the content, at which point all of the characters will be wiped and that’s it? Without knowing it’s hard to say but again, it’s a journey. Set your expectations accordingly and decide if it’s for you or not.
Whatever you do, wherever you go, good luck and happy adventures.
This is what gold buyers being easily 50% of the Anniversary population do any way so why complain about it? You knew this was coming, you knew in advance that the “Vanilla” game is only out for a year.
All this is known, and yet players manage to complain about easy content and then also demand that they should have more loot to cover for lost time?
TL;DR no one deserves full BiS, and even if they increased loot drops it is still unlikely you or even 99% of the player base will ever even come close to full BiS because of how long it takes on Era to gear even 4 years later.
