Hello

I’m having a very weird problem that just started today. When I visit the forums, they’re displayed in english, but any of the links in the header of the site link me to the chinese version of blizzard’s site.

for example, shop link is https://shop.battlenet.com.cn/
news is https://cn.news.blizzard.com/
one of the links on the esports tab is http://esports.blizzard.cn/

So I would think this is some kind of malware/virus, but the weird thing is, the same thing is happening on my phone, and it doesn’t matter what browser I use…I can grab a browser I never use (edge, for example) and it’s doing the same.

oh, I just noticed - the footer of the forums (this page included) is in chinese. So whatever is going on, involved the very top navigation and the footer.

I tried connecting to a VPN to see if that made any difference - it did not.

so. idk.

I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled battle.net app - both desktop and mobile, and ensured my region is set to Americas.

I’ve connected via a VPN to make sure it’s not something with my IP. I’ve deleted caches multiple times, and I’ve run a virus and maleware scan, nothing found.

Don’t know what more i can do. I’ve changed my password for both WoW and the email address I use for it just in case.

This is just weird. I havent played tonight except for the classic stress test, up until now, so I have no idea when this may have happened.

Edit: looks like mine fixed itself now

I had the same issue, like 1 hour ago.

Currently experiencing this as well. All links lead to the chinese version of the website.

I came here because I just noticed the same thing happening…could be why the downtime and maintenance?

In EU forum we have the same problem. Page bottom also change to:

Try clearing the cache and cookies for your browser, it cleared up for me following the an login issues resolved.
