Not a pro and have used builtin cameras on my laptop for work stuff without issues BUT I am now using a desktop that doesn’t have that so need to pick up I suppose a decent webcam and have a few questions.

For streaming and some youtube stuff as well as presentation videos (Might do some content, we shall see.) do I need to go 1080p or is 720kp enough.
-
I see some cameras com with a microphone. How does that work.
I just need something decent to semi pro for when/if I end up doing some stuff for work or whatever but nothing extravagant and this channel has helped a lot.
Thanks ahead of time.
well… a quick amazon search yields a few 1080p/60 fps webcam under 50 bucks, but if you don’t trust those get the more expensive logitech ones.
same with the mics, or you can use your headset mic assuming you have one
Thanks. I searched online also was looking for more of a personal experience type hands on type reaction.
I would assume that using those build in microphones would probably pick up a lot of noise ?
Anyway Happy New year and thanks for responding
That kinda depends on the software… if it has a gate function, or a way to turn down the sensitivity setting of the mic so it only picks up your voice.
happy new year also!
Thanks just hard to choose, there are some really well reviewed cheap ones around 20 bucks and then some for 50+ haha.
Oh well will look into it thanks a lot.
