Weapons that need (more) representation in WoW

Flails. I’m pretty sure Warrior has a flail as an artifact skin, but they’re such cool weapons that I don’t know how I went this long without them. Imagine a Shaman hitting someone with a lightning flail!

Sickles. Yeah, I know that in real life they’re terrible weapons, but they look cool. Make them all int daggers for all I care, I want 'em.

Whips. Leather or chain. What weapon type would they be? Who knows. But the day I see an Indiana Jones-esque character kill a bandit with a whip is the day I know I’ll die a happy man.

Clubs. For some reason, most of the good club weapons are raid drops? What’s stopping anyone from picking a thick branch off a magic tree and hitting someone with it?

Rapiers. There were a couple good ones in BfA, but other than that the only ones I know are cata-level low poly. Come on! Let swashbucklers live their Jack Sparrow dream!

Anything else you guys can think of? Thoughts?

I was literally just thinking this in the shower.

We definitely need more flails.

  • a WHIP(venthyr rogue skill is literally flagellate).
  • psai
  • a gun that shoots slime or slime creatures
  • kobold-on-a-stick. Like this:

  • pistols
  • armor and metal claws for druid forms
  • a mirror shield
  • more torch weapons. They should have put in an equippable soul guard torch that grants permanent immunity to the endmire.

since fish is officially a weapon in WoW i think we need more fish weapons

I would like to be able to use a slingshot or even hit a rogue in the eye with a yo-yo.

Heck or a whip like in Ratchet and Clank 3. That was my fav weapon in the game.

There’s a fish mace. “Real” does not apply.

There’s a bunch of venthyr themed rapiers floating around Revendreth. Can add those to the list.

We also need more simplistic weapons, like the ones added in the new leveling zone.

That sounds amazing, i personally would like to see some race based weapons, like:

Humans: WC 2 and 3 Paladin maces.
Dwarfs: 1H maces and some good looking guns.
Nighelfs: Sentinel and Warden glaives
Voidelf: Void blades
Orc: 1h and 2h axes and swords like the ones of Blademaster and Raider from wc3
Troll: Trowable spear
Tauren: A totem as a weapon, cmon blizz the cows need their totems.
BloodElf: Spellbraker glaives

There were certain parts of Revendreth that felt like I was playing through the Neflix Castlevania series.

I really wanted a whip/flail.

Addendum:

I’d also like to see more chinese swords, like the ones from the Pandaren start that resemble shuangshou jian except I can mog them.

It would be cool to see some African Swords as well, like the Mambele.

Buster Swords. But bigger and more massive well just cause.

Like Clouds buster sword from FF7. But bigger and more massive for the fun of it.
