On my Frost Death Knight I use a 2hd weapon. I can’t use all of my spells, but I don’t care.
On my Windwalker Monk, I use a 2hd weapon. Again, I can’t use all of my spells, but I still don’t care.
On my Feral Druid, I use a 2hd weapon. Strange, back in Legion, I had to use daggers and in BFA can’t use Daggers. At least I can use all of my spells for… reasons.
On my Survival Hunter, I leveled using a 2hd sword. I would still being using a 2hd sword except Blacksmithing in BFA can’t make good 2hd swords for… reasons.

The Game used to be about choice. Really looking forward to the Classic Servers going live.

You will get the choice to not play most specs. Because most specs will be unplayable.

Wait whadda mean that’s a hunter weapon and they get it. (I didn’t play vanilla but this is partly how I’ve heard parts of it.)

I use the brewmaster artifact just so I can carry it over my shoulder. All things being equal though, I’ve always been an axe guy. Swords are my least favourite. Except for guns, those are far and away my least favourite.

I’m wondering if you really did play in Vanilla or are remembering it differently than me, since well, it wasn’t about choice then either. Especially for hunter pets since you had to level them and train them and at a certain point it became a gigantic pain in the tushie.

Then you also had to level each weapon with weapon skills which, as much as I look back fondly at Vanilla, was also just not fun.
