Weapon Swap Macro

For experimentation purposes, can someone give me a simple weapon swap macro for Prot? To go between 1h/shield and a 2h. Thanks.

Only thing I can think of is this:

/equip [nomod] Two hander
/equip [mod:shift] 1h
/equip [mod:shift] shield

Does something like this work for Holy?

Like with lightsmith will swapping to a 2h before casting a buffed crusader strike yield more healing during wings? Then swapping back to 1h shield to before casting SoTR?

Just me theorizing, but I think that to truly know the answer at all, for any spec, one would need

  • Weapon sets of equivalent iLevel and stats

  • Macros that swap weapon and cast an appropriate ability

I’m not there yet, but I do plan to test this when I get it all figured out. Seems to me like one could do the testing using cheap weapons of a lower iLevel, as long as they are ‘equivalent’, the harder part is figuring out the macros and a proper rotation…
