I main a rogue tank. I don’t plan on using Mutilate(even though it’s the meta).
My main question is if I don’t care about super frequent poison application with my off-hand and I’m not speccing into sword specialization, what’s the purpose of having a fast off-hand. Cause if possible, I’d rather just use 2 strong dps swords if I can.
I might be wrong, but i think sword spec always triggers a main hand swing even if the off hand weapon procs it. But i am not 100% sure that’s the case. So you want the fastest off hand sword you can get. But in practise a weapon with higher dps is probably always going to be better.
you are correct, this was why in tbc vanilla fist main hand sword offhand was a spec.
This is the spec I plan on using at 60. So not “Sword specializiation” or “Adrenaline Rush”.
So in this case, I could probably just use 2 strong swords and not really care about weapon speed?
