What’s the best rune for blood dk going into sl?, i normally to fallen crusader but I’ve been having heaps fun with the sanguination execute rune.
What should I be using?
The heal on sang seems better given that it’s large and will always proc at low HP. Wowhead comments says it only happens once every 5 mins but I thought I was using it the other day and it was a 2 min CD?
No it’s 5 minutes debuff when triggered.
Oh then yeah, I’ll probably go Fallen Crusader then, esp since I mostly do M+. I don’t think a 50% heal every 5 mins and more single target damage will help much there. Probably be good for raiding though.
Main problem with the heal is that as a blood tank we proc the Rune heal very quickly… then we have a slow building DS boost and nothing else. (this does not help with tanking).
Perhaps if Sanguine worked like HoA: Essence Endurance (
Every 2 sec, store [90 * (1 + Versatility) * (1.25)] healing, up to a maximum of (Total health * 0.1). When you dodge or parry an attack, heal for all stored healing.)
It could be a neat Runeforge to use for all specs, pve and pvp.
So far from what I have played around with I like hysteria, the extra RP lower haste requirements and equals more DS. Always having more RP feels smooth.
Sadly Fallen Crusader is still looking to be the best. It’s just unfortunate that they added all these new rune enchants (which is great don’t get me wrong) but they are just generally all not as good as the ones we already had.
Of course if you don’t care about min-maxing then just pick w/e and have fun with it
