Title says it all, based on the quests wording it should track all conquest earned this season and count it.

Yeah was about to post about this. Very easy to get yourself behind like I just did by getting 550 or so before picking up the quest. Hopefully they update this.

Quests in general dont track anything before the quest is accepted…

yes! please update this. I did sparks first and I went to the normal pvp quest giver. I thought i picked up all the quest and earned around 300 conquest while doing world pvp. Now it won’t count towards the Weapon of Conquest because I had already earned 300 before i picked up the quest…im a week behind.
The quest is tracking “conquest earned this season” and so should be retroactive.

I mean, you didn’t have the quest when you earned it so sounds like working as intended
Kind of like how if you try collecting 20 boars tails without picking up the quest it doesn’t really matter

The whole intent is to get us all weapons at the same time. Putting people behind because they didnt click a quest giver isnt working as intended.

Exactly I hope this gets fixed, puts me back a whole week on one of my alts. Not pleased.
I really hope it gets made retroactive. Seems silly to punish people for playing the game readily XD

If it were working as intended it wouldn’t be worded as “conquest earned this season”
I dont know half the systems in place and that’s apparently my fault according to blizz and you guys. Maybe if the quest wasn’t stated as being retroactive, I would’ve never had to make this post because it was my fault. BUT blizz implemented it this way and didn’t make it work this way, so now they can deal with the complaints. If i got 60 more conquest before i picked them up i would be gated another week and that makes 0 sense other than if you want to see that happen for not picking up the quest or even knowing it was there. I didnt know about the 2 other honor quests until i was capped. I dont know what bloodstones are. It was implied this expansion that you can also mount in combat for some dungeons, I wonder what else they assume a veteran returning player will somehow know.
the quest didnt show up on the map/minimap, because it was inside the building. picked up every quest except this, thats part of the problem, didnt know the quest was there til i was going to look for gear to buy.
Honestly though, crafted weapons day one. So whatever.
I dont think crafting a weapon will put you behind week three. Thats 3 weeks of warmode gear, three weeks of conquest gear and mythic+ gear is same ilvl as conquest.
