Weapon macro not working after recent balance patch in sod

So quick summary

I had several macros:

/equipslot 16 Electrocutioner’s Needle
/equipslot 17 Whirling Truesilver Gearwall

/equipslot 16 Heaven’s Light
/equipslot 17 Whirling Truesilver Gearwall

/equipslot 16 Electrocutioner’s Needle
/equipslot 17 Legionnaire’s Sword

for instance

None of these work after recent patch.

it says the following:
“that item does not go in that slot”

so was there any new changes in terms of the number being assigned for item slot?

ah it was changed to 15 and 16

case closed

I run into that too.

I wonder if that’s intentional, or if the slot numbers changed.

Apparently the slot number changed
There was a thread that had this issue and found out that the numbers changed

Very odd, you may want to test different slot IDs… which is wild if they changed.

Theyve been the same numbers for two decades. Odd

Main hand is slot 15 now. Change the numbers accordingly it will work again

i had the same issues on my toons, made the change and every toon works but my shaman. I only use the weapon switch macro for changing out my fishing pole. Even with the slot number change the macro will not equip both weapons . It works just fine on my rogue. Anybody else have that kind of issue?
