How do weapon enchantments work? Like the fiery weapon for example? Do I buy an item on the AH and attach is to my weapons? Or do I have to go find someone with enchanting and they somehow enchant it?
Also, once I get this “fire” enchant per say, what happens after? Can I remove the enchant and re apply to a different weapon, or is it permanent?
If anyone can give me a breakdown of how this stuff works, I’d appreciate it big time! Never done this stuff before.
Find an enchanter, open trade, place weapon in will not be traded slot, receive enchant. Will either have to trade the matts ahead of time or pay the enchanter for their matts. Can replace later with same process, new enchant will overwrite.
Once an enchant is on the weapon that’s it, can’t remove and place on another weapon or anything like that.
Iscariah is on target. I’ll add that you don’t buy any enchantment from the AH. The enchanter needs to know the recipe already.
Is the fiery weapon enchant pretty expensive? Or what would you guys say is the best enchant for a rogue with swords?
