Weapon Enchant prices

We shouldn’t have to buy a WoW token to get 2 enchants.

Decrease the mats required per enchant and increase the drop rate and mob source for these Glowing Titan Orbs. It requires 3, and avg is 9,000g per orb. It’s way too expensive.

That’s it. That’s the post.

You need a redonkulous amount of Titan Orbs for cosmetic items as well - there’s no reason they should be required for enchants.

Enchants are shoving up the cost of Titan Orbs, which in turn is making it extremely expensive to get some of the Renown-locked cosmetics, which are purchased with Titan Orbs.

EDIT: To Clarify, I think they should either remove the Titan Orbs from enchants or reduce them to 1, (and buff the drop rate). Because enchants are at ridiculous prices because of them, and other parts of the game (cosmetics) are suffering due to enchants due to this.

It will reduce with time. Honestly it’s kind of healthy for the economy for people to be able to make money off the materials and the crafting product for high prices. You use your own professions to profit just the same.

I get what you’re trying to say, but consumables, item enhancements, BoEs, etc. are always expensive at the start of an expansion, even moreso w/ the introduction of WoW tokens.

If people sell at high price and people are willing to spend it, they’re going to. High end guilds as well as individual players have infinite resources via WoW Token and are going to drive the market. Azerothian Capitalism at its finest.

They will luckily be around all expansion, so you can buy them up in 6 months when the market isn’t hot from RWF and CE/HOF guilds progging.

Yep. I’ve spent about 500k so far on stuff for my alts but I have made 800k from those same alts.

It’s forcing us to interact with a convoluted crafting system… I’m hating the crafting system a little more each day. For these prices we need to have a way to either transfer the enchant to other items, or we should be able to properly upgrade items so we don’t have to replace it with several different ilvls.

I kind of don’t mind weapon enchants being more special and expensive than they have been for a while. Reminds of of the old righteous orbs from vanilla. But I do wish the drop rate for the glowing titan orbs was higher, or at least the mob respawn rate was better.

I just spent an hour or so (long enough for 3 Ancient Protectors to spawn) farming Tyrhold with a primal storm active so there would be more people around and unlimited mob tagging. I was there just for glowing titan orbs; I don’t need the primal storm stuff (though I wouldn’t say no to a lariat recipe drop!). There were a lot of people there and we killed everything that moved. Often we were all just swooping around on our dragons looking for mob spawns. I came away with ONE glowing titan orb for my efforts.

70k+ is a lot of gold for something that’s basically going to be thrown away at some point, but even 30k is for a subpar quality. Gear is a throw-away culture, and expensive enchants don’t fit in.

Unless they add more mobs that drop Titan Orbs in future patches, no, they’ll increase with time, as less people farm the Titan Orbs. The crystal prices will drop, yes, but the orb prices will go up, and thus the enchant prices will stay the same or increase.

Even adding Titan Orbs as rare drops from dungeon bosses would go a long way towards helping.

The fact there’s people defending the fact an enchant costs pretty much a WoW token is somewhat disturbing to me.

We aren’t talking about a piece of gear that also gives you transmog that lasts forever - this is literally an enchant that lasts only as long as you use that weapon, which is a few months. It’s completely different when you spend 100k on a BoE because you’re also paying for that appearance.
