Was it intentional to make most of the weapon enchant appearances pulse instead of be always on? Up until recently, the appearance for Breath of Yu’lon and Light of the Earth-Warder were just a constant bright glowy green and yellow, but now they pulse in and out instead of being always on. It is really quite annoying, and just wondering if it was intentional?

Maybe I’m misunderstanding you but both of those illusions look the same to me? I haven’t used either of them recently but they don’t look any different compared to what I remember them being. When did you notice the change?
Just noticed it the other day. Finally got the sword I wanted for a transmog and put the Light of the Earth-Warder enchant appearance on it. Logged out to look at my character on the login screen and noticed the enchant appearance strobing instead of being always on. When I went back through my enchant appearances in the transmog UI, more than half were pulsing instead of being always on. Beserking is another that looks just wrong,
Edit: Just checked them on my spouses computer, and they are not pulsing on hers…so, why would they on mine? We are both on Macs, so same OS. May try deleting WTF and cache and see if that has any effect.
Ok - figured it out. They pulse with particle density set to anything below good…
