Weapon embelishments should not exist in PVP

You have made ascension embelishment OP far beyond others… All other non weapon embelishments should be buffed. Every one is just using weapon embelishments making optional embelishments obsolete. So why even have them in the game if they cannot compete in some way?
The embellishment that gives you a 450 000 dmg shield absorb every like 4 mins… Really? What is that.

In a perfect world however, embelishments have no place in PVP and are just a convuluted mess.

I mean, tbh it’s not really that noticeable but yeah I agree it shouldn’t be a thing.

Weapon embellishments are fine. Each of them is 2-4% of a secondary stat. That is not game breaking. Most of the other embellishments are fine but people think they NEED to have ascension to compete because some galaxy brain saw it was BiS in pve sims.

It is the stupid process and min maxing that is the issue. The interface is like an excel spread sheet. No true pvper enjoys sifting through the horrible menus and going to the AH trying to remember what they need to craft this crap. Then there is no section for Embellishments on the AH… So you are like wtf was it called again? Its terrible i hate embelishments

The problem is that the free weapons aren’t worth it if you want Ascension so some classes get their bis withour crafting and a free weapon.

I mean pvpers cried to be able to have control over their stats and gear, myself included. People make the system seem harder than it is. Also a tip for knowing what materials to craft is snipping tool and ms paint.

There is a section on the auction house under regeants > optional finishing or something like that.

I take photos on my phone… But that shouldnt be a thing to use things like that when they could easily implement it into the system.

So give them that feed back on the professions forum. Suggest they add a sort of ingame shopping list to the ui or allow you to buy directly from the AH when at a crafting bench

There is a track recipe button on the orders list…and crafting bench

this season is complete trash at this point.

It will get nerfed once the YouTubers that told everyone to craft them earn enough ad revenue. Should be pretty soon.

It’s not even the best embellishment. What you and some people have no understanding of, is that ascension has no ilvl scaling. It’s a good pve embellishment at lower ilvls, but since it lacks scaling it falls off considerably compared to damage embellishments, espescially when your ilvl automatically goes to 639. Double focusing lens is actually better than ascension+armor banding.

Ascension is just more generalized and can slot into more roles compared to focusing lens, limiting recrafting if you decide to change specs.

I do the same, take a pic and run to the AH

Really I had no idea. Can you track multiple recipe at a time?

Yes. It simply adds it to your default objective tracker, so you might need to untrack some quests, but you can track multiple recipes.

I will have to remember this for the future and I can delete my folder of screenshots lol

I think that the real problem with weapon embellishments is that it makes conquest weapon completely obsolete since a crafted weapon will always be better, we could play around all the other pieces to get 2 with embellishments and not feel bad but you can’t do that when weapon embellishment is BiS no matter which one you take, at the end of the day we are forced to end up getting a crafted weapon

ascension is not bis for everyone, nor is it enough of an increase over the competition to warrant complaining about

Not talking about that one but all of them, at the end of the day having weapon embellishment will be a must because it’s what will give the best output, making conquest weapon useless.

Ascension and weapon grip are the only 2 weapon only embellishments worth talking about, though I haven’t seen the latter being run outside of augmentation in pve. The other weapon embellishments belong in the trash.

Casters (not sure about melee) will probably get better output more consistently with elemental focusing lens, especially in scenarios where dropping combat is a possibility. Even ignoring that, duskthread lining is still pretty competitive.
