Is anyone else struggling with disarms? I was fighting war/monk/hpal last night and wasn’t able to use a single shadow dance without getting instantly disarmed. Are there weapon chains that work on lvl 60 weapons? Does evasion work against disarm? How come a warrior can’t be disarmed during blade storm but a rogue can during shadow dance?

Those are not items, Warriors have Disarm and WW Monks have Grapple Weapon as PvP Talents. Evasion should work against them since they are physical abilities.
Outlaw rogue also have Dismantle (Disarm) as a PvP Talent.
I’m aware they’re abilities. I’m asking if there’s weapon chains that work for level 60 to counter them.

Not that I know of.
There’s none for 60.
However, I am curious if we could just grab a lower ilvl weapon and put a weapon chain on it and use that. You’d lose some stats. But, it might be worth? Plus, you can swap weapons in combat.
But, I do know some things just straight up don’t work for level 60s. So, even a weapon with the weapon chain enchanted on it, may still not do anything.
I said it before I’ll say it again warriors are broken. They have way too many def CDs to go along with crazy dmg and 50% healing reduction. Where’s Shieldbash when you need him lol

I meant like, if you are going up against a Warrior, Monk, or Rogue and you know they have disarm, you could throw the weapon on and take the stat hit. Once they use the disarm, you can swap back to your main OH weapon. Then just make sure you keep in mind the CD on their disarm and swap back to the weapon chain OH when their disarm is off CD!
Okay, so I dueled a Warrior friend and checked it out. It does appear weapon chains do work. I had a Living Steel Weapon Chain on Tiriosh(Legendary Dagger OH).
So, you could make a weapon swap macro and hope for the best. Looking at damage, Shadowstrike goes from 1620 to 1582 and Eviscerate from 2214 to 2166. So, only about a 2% damage loss. Maybe there’s even a dagger that you can throw the weapon chain on that has even better stats and will have less of an impact on your damage, too. So, you may be able to just get away with always having it on. Still, you should probably have a weapon swap macro or just manually do it after they disarm anyways since disarms have a 45s CD.

Actually, I specced a weird way and took a different conduit and have had better success. Using Secondwind instead of D Stance and using the Night Fae Chrystalis Conduit that gives me an overhealing Absorb has been a good change against Rogues.
It works because Normally Rogue will get me low force my trinket and then blind, he kyrian pots to remove my bleeds, and resets. With this set up I am healing a good portion of HP back while inside the blind.
Its quirky, but its the best setup so far I found to not die after the blind.
Well I respeced to sin and let me tell you I do wasaaaaaaay better back warriors now. As sub I didn’t fair too well. Either way with a healer warriors are top tier. I’d trade being crap in 1v1 to be king of 3s

do not believe you can swap weps in arena, unless you use a lvl 50 item against every warrior team at the start at least
