I’m trying to find weakauras for a few specific spells but haven’t been able to find them on wago or just with a google search. Needing one for
Tidestorm Codex
Meteor
Firemind
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
I’m guessing you just want to track the cooldown progress of Meteor and the Tidestorm trinket.
Basically those are setup almost identically, with a tiny variation because one is an item and the other a spell.
To create a WA for each do the following
- Enter /wa to open Weakauras,
- Click New, click Icon, Give it a useful name and hit enter
NOTE: after changing/entering a value in WeakAuras either hit Enter to make it save or if it shows you an Accept or OK button, click that. If you don’t do that, the value won’t be xaved. - On the Trigger Tab you just need 1 trigger for each.
- Type: Status
- Status: Cooldown Progress (Spell) for Meteor or Cooldown Progress (Item) for the Trinket
- Enter the name of the spell (Meteor) or item (make sure you enter the name exactly and you may have to be wearing it)
- Show: Always (I’m assuming that you will want to see the icon disabled if its on cooldown instead of hiding the icon).
- Display tab:
- Automatic Icon check
- Under Cooldown settings: check cooldown
- If you want to see a numeric countdown, check Text and enter %p
- Change the Remaining Time precision to what you want
- Experiment after you get a basic item working
- Conditions tab, Add a Condition
- Select “on cooldown” from the IF dropdown box
- Then select True for the value
- Select Desaturate in the Then box and (very important) check the box to the right
- Load tab, select Mage and other things otherwise this will show for all your characters.
For the Buff, Firemind, follow the steps above except you won’t need anything on the Conditions tab and the Trigger will be:
- Type: Aura
- Unit: Player
- Aura Type: Buff
- Check Name(s) and type in Firemind (hit enter to save that)
- Show On: Aura(s) Found
The Firemind buff icon will only be visible when you have the buff. if you want a disabled icon for when you don’t have it, change the Shown On to be Always and create a Condition for Remaining Duration = 0, then Desaturate.
On the Display to show the # of stacks as well as remain duration enter the text like %s/%p
