WeakAura Issue

I’ve downloaded and deleted this addon 5 times through the twitch app and I can not get it to work for classic. Here is the error i am getting.

/wa

“Options will finish loading after the login process has completed”

Can anyone help me? I really want to get some stun timers going for my rogue :frowning:

/shrug I downloaded it from curseforge and it works fine.

I manually installed all my addons, eh.

I tried downloading it manually and i’m getting the same result. I can’t imagine i’m the only one having this issue. Please help! :frowning:

From a cursory Google search, there are a few possibilities:

  1. Weakauras is conflicting with another addon. Try disabling all addons and slowly enable them one by one.
  2. Try a different version. Either update or use older versions.
  3. Might be corrupted auras. Try deleting customs auras. Will have to remake all your auras though.

I haven’t even been able to access the WeakAuras tooltip. so when i do:

/wa

i get this:

“Options will finish loading after the login process has completed”

So, i’ll try enabling and disabling and see if I can find out whats going on.

You’ll have to delete the custom Weakauras files outside of the game. For me, the location is
C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\_classic_\WTF\Account\(account name)\SavedVariables
The file name is Weakauras.lua.

Glad I could help. Now you’ll have to remake all your auras though.
