Hi,
I’m slowly learning how to use weakuras, but I have no idea how to do this one. So what I would like is an icon to show in dungeons when a resto druid has the feral buff of Cat Form.
This would show me that my healer is doing DPS and that I as a Guardian Druid need to heal myself.
Is this type of weakaura possible?
Thank you.
There’s not a feral buff, just “Cat Form”. Doesn’t mean the healer is in feral but does mean is in cat form. But FYI, I go into cat form often when I’m in resto just to move around and to avoid polymorph.
To always know when the healer is in cat form, set the healer as your focus then make a Weak Aura that triggers on Type “Aura”, Unit “Focus”, Aura Type “Buff”, Name “Cat Form”
Okay, thank you, is there any other way to do this that doesn’t involve using a focus? Just as long as they are my party?
Maybe, there is a way to set it to watch a Unit ID, Nameplate, etc. If the healer is always a certain Unit ID then that could be what the Weak Aura watches but you’d have to experiment with that in groups.
But as a resto druid I don’t know how useful knowing I’m in cat form would be for you since I use it so often and almost never for DPS. I mean do chip away at DPS if there’s absolutely nothing else for me to do but the second I need to heal then I heal.
