I’m looking for a weakaura that displays the name of the enchant on my current weapon. I have a 49 twink warrior on wow classic with 2 kangs. One kang has crusader and the other has a weapon chain. It’s hard to tell which one i have on without opening my character info screen. Is there a way to make a weak aura that will show me which enchant is currently on my weapon?
I don’t have an answer for this. But I do have an alternative solution.
I used outfitter to swap from OH shield to dual wield axes. I created two “sets” that only move that one piece of gear, and then I bound them to two different keys.
You could do the same and just tap the key for the chant that you want. If you have it equipped, nothing happens, if you don’t then your weapon swaps. No aura but at least you have some certainty.

thank you. I’ve been trying to just, figure it out… but that makes more sense. I’m glad this addon can tell the difference between my two kangs, because no macro could.

I dont think you can because it is not an active buff you can read.
It is simply a change to weapon stats and i dont think WA can see that
So, I still haven’t found a solution for this. No matter what I do, I can’t get an addon or macro to directly to swap from kang with crusader to kang with weapon chain by name, or the other way around. the only way I have been able to manage it is by equipping from a direct bag slot, which gets messed up when i swap to sword and board, because my bloodrazor gets discarded into that slot after i put a kang back on.
I swear I used to use weakauras for this very thing… I’ll try and get back to this post when I have time to play with it a bit.

That should swap between your two Kangs. I don’t have one to test out the specific number ID, but it should be that. Let me know if it didn’t work
Now, you said you wanted to know which one you had equiped. I’ve never tried to get a weak aura to show an equiped item based on enchant, but I can mess with that later. For now, I can offer you this macro.
Push that key, equip your Crusader enchant. Hold Alt key and push that, and it will equip your Weapon Chain enchant. This way you will always know which one you are equipping, but will require you to make use of the alt key.
Edit: Upon further testing, game might not be able to recognize between the Crusader ID (1900) and the Weapon Chain ID (37). All of my weapons have Crusader on them, and I don’t have two of the same with different enchants to test, but worth a shot.
