I have been raiding on Remulos since Vanilla Classic. Another reminder that whatever information you are looking at is flawed. I am only here to remind anyone reading this post that you are merely someone shouting at clouds.
I have confidence Blizzard won’t buy your cries that the sky is falling, but there might be people who read this post who are gullible enough to believe your doomsaying. I’m merely sticking around to provide actual insight about Remulos and counter your hearsay.
Your “structural population collapse” and imaginary numbers simply don’t jibe with my experiences on the server. And I think people are entitled to some accurate information from someone who has “been there” as opposed to a character from another completely different server who can only quote parses from third-party web sites.

So, my server is 99.2% Horde. I believe this number is misrepresented when it comes to live play. Hear me out. On average I sleep 3-4 hours a day and tend to pop into wow randomly around the clock and have noticed a distinct demographic pattern.
During normal play hours for the west you actually have a healthy sized Alliance population playing, but yes anywhere you go its going to be at LEAST five horde for every alliance player, if not a larger number. I mean I roll up solo into a crowd of 20 horde all the time.
However, when the server time reaches about 2-3 am a distinct change happens. Alliance players drop down to near zero and the Horde players triple in size. I believe this is due to our brothers and sisters in the Asian and Eastern Europe countries log in. Its a completely different paradigm and world pvp play style. If I had to guess I would say that they account for at least 20% of the 99.2% conservatively.
Personally, I enjoyed the anniversary realm mega servers. Always people around. I would love to see something like a mega server set up for MoP.

The kicker? Out of those 258 Horde guilds across OCE, only two are on Remulos. The other 256 are all on Arugal.

I’m OCE. I play PVE only. My ONLY real choice is Remulos. And that’s not a choice at all.
I’m not sure what jollies the mage above is getting out of coming at this from a “I’ve been here since Vanilla and this OP is an outsider”.

Yes, I do raid on Remulos. So, now I have to doubt your supposed “knowledge” of me as well. My character is level 90 and while my guild hasn’t started raiding yet, we are making our plans and gearing our characters to start.
And while it’s a nice mis-quote, I said “OVER 170,000 parses” as that was the number I found on Warcraftlogs for Remulos just with the recent raids, and I know not everyone posts logs there. And I have to doubt you are on Remulos if you haven’t seen LFG posts for open spots in raids because I’ve seen them quite often.
Since you only hide your posts behind your Dethremar character, I can only surmise your information about Remulos is third party and hearsay. And I will continue to counter it where I can. Not to change your mind. I have about as much chance of doing that as changing a flat-Earther’s view of the globe.
Warmode is not needed or wanted on Classic servers. Don’t like world PvP? Go roll on a PvE server or play Retail! You made the choice to play there, so now either make the choice to leave or get used to it!
No, I understand the situation perfectly. The player took the following steps:
Installed WoW
Created an account
Logged into the game
Viewed the server list
Chose to play on a PvP server
Created a character on that PvP server
Acknowledged the warning and accepted the risk of world PvP
And now six years later they want the rules changed because they don’t like world PvP?
That’s not a misunderstanding. That’s buyer’s remorse. Classic PvP servers come with friction, danger, and consequence. If you didn’t want that, PvE realms existed then and still do now. You made a choice. Own it.
So you started playing a week before pre-patch ended, meaning you’ve been on that server for about five weeks? Perfect that gives you evenlessroom to complain. You’ve got minimal time invested, no long-term guild ties, and no sunk cost. If the server setup doesn’t suit you, rerolling or transferring is easier than ever.
And let’s not forget: these servers aren’t new. Classic launched in 2019 six years ago. Players had years to choose their realm, understand the PvP vs. PvE dynamics, and settle into communities. If you’re just arriving now and demanding structural changes to suit your preferences, that’s not feedback that’s entitlement.
Whether or not youlikethe available PvE server doesn’t change the fact that the choice exists.
If the population imbalance is the issue, that’s a separate conversation about merges or transfers not toggling PvP off on a PvP server. Asking Blizzard to rewrite the rules because you regret your realm choice isn’t feedback
Throwing insults when you’ve been proven wrong doesn’t make you right. The fact remains: players have a choice between PvP and PvE servers. They chose to play on a PvP server. There’s more than one option so yes, that’s a choice.
When someone willingly selects a PvP realm, acknowledges the risks, and then demands the rules be changed later because they don’t like the consequences, that’s not a design flaw it’s regret. Classic has always been about meaningful decisions. Server choice is one of them.

Blizzard chose warmode as the option themselves for retail so clearly it works.

I’ve suggested Cross Realm Raiding or Cross Faction Raiding or opening up LFR which is what used to be here in MOP Retail - currently my toon is 474 ilvl and I’ve yet to raid.
Being here for 5 weeks doesn’t give me any less of an idea of how the server is? I’ve been playing WOW for 15 years now, so I have a reasonable understanding from AH to LFG Chat etc on if a server is thriving or not.
PVP has : Cross Realm & Cross Faction
PVE has : Only your server and only your faction
The naysayers on here intrigue me - so I’m trying not to engage too much with them.
@blizzard Can you care to weigh in? There are only 5 x 10 man teams on Remulos, 1 x 25 man team on Remulos and they are all full - not accepting new applicants or raiders. These are teams that have been locked in for years. Would you be open to a Megaserver solution or enabling Cross Realm/Cross Faction for Normal Raiding? You can leave Heroic to server only if you like.
I only play Alliance, and only play PVE. As I have done for 15 years. And I can tell you, as a fresh player here, this is not a server that’s going to help me achieve my raiding goal due to the extremely low population.
