What it says in the title. There should be a way to reroll at least one of these things each day.
I’m bumping this because I like this idea and it would help my blacksmith out greatly.
Currently, my blacksmith is falling quite behind because of constantly being offered knowledge point patron orders that want 5 or more Sanctified Alloy. The NPCs almost never provide them for the 2-pointers, so I have to constantly fill the 1-point trickle catchup orders which also end up costing more than they should per point relative to other professions. I’m simply not paying 5k for 2 knowledge points when it costs me a fraction of that on every other profession.

This is what I see for 75% of my patron orders for blacksmithing knowledge. No other profession comes close.

It is not only you, everyone is getting patron orders like this.
Only difference is how each of us weighting investment. Im doing all orders no matter how much it cost. In return, I can fill trees faster and it is faster to do fulfill crafting orders, meaning getting my investment back.
Overall, I didnt make much gold, but my Blacksmithing is fully developed and season 2 is coming.
Yes, my point was that Blacksmithing has some sort of issue with its patron orders not present in the other crafting professions.
Season 2 isn’t coming for 3 more months. So for that reason I’m only filling orders that are profitable (or less than 100 gold per KP if they reward KP) I figure I can max out most of the trees by season 2 without wasting too much gold.
BS is not the only one that gives orders that I’m going “Lol nope” to but you are correct that it has more of them than other professions. My BS is further “behind” than any other profession and I leveled them all within the first week.
I don’t really care that much but I don’t see the harm in allowing us to reroll patron orders. I also don’t think it will help much.
What would help is if they would make it so sanctified alloy and charged alloy were always provided by the patron.

Yeah, agreed. There are still a few I skip for engineering but not so much JC since almost all of its orders are cheap for me with what I gather on my own (except any PvP meta gems).
Out of morbid curiosity, I installed Myu’s knowledge points tracker WeakAura to see how many catchup points are available across all my professions. For nearly every crafting profession, I’ve typically been sitting at only 2-3 catchup still available, but blacksmithing is at 10+ 
. Just wild.

Gathering the mats yourself doesn’t make them any cheaper. You are forgoing the gold you could have made selling the raw mats.
10 points. I wish I was 10 points lol. I’m 38 points behind! 
I don’t mind though. I can make almost everything between my two BS. All KP does for me is duplicate things for more concentration.
You have the most achievement points of any person I’ve ever seen. Wow! Hats off to you! Idk how you manage to do so much in a season!

From a raw financial standpoint, yes. I was referring to a time spent standpoint, as it’s a wash because I already am doing that gathering to get knowledge on those professions anyways.
