We should be able to lock our levels at 60

I was going to lock this character at 59 so she could do BFA stuff without losing access to the dungeon finder, but I couldn’t find a way to squeak out of the tutorial area without hitting 60.

BFA says it’s for levels 10-60 so WHY do we lose the ability to lock our EXP at 60 instead of 61? It’s stupid. If they don’t want us there at 60, the map should say that the BFA zones are for levels 10-59, not 10-60.
EDIT:Apparently someone reported me for…something. No idea what. But it got me locked out my my account. Who the hell is going around and falsely reporting people? Did someone just get pissy about me bringing this up?

Why do you want to lock an Evoker at 60

I literally just said why.

I understand you want to do BFA on an Evoker, I’m just confused as to why

…because I like BFA. I don’t need any other reason.

I just don’t know why it’s surprising that the class designed to start at and be played in Dragonflight has to be started at and played in Dragonflight. Make any other character but the hero class for the latest expansion.

Can party members go to a summoning stone and summon you out of the starting area? I would doubt it, since this “issue” was known with the old starting areas, but maybe worth a shot.

No, sadly. I tried.

Could you please focus on the point of my post instead of my taste in content? There is NO reason why we should get locked out of locking our exp when we hit level 60 instead of 61.

Turn off XP in SW guy still there?

I think you can turn off XP in major cities. Or did they remove that? Do people still make twinks for PVP and stuff?

Behsten, in the War Room of the keep.

You can only lock XP below 60.

You lose access to that when you hit 60. Which is stupid, because BFA is a level 60 area. You shouldn’t get locked out of that while in an area that you’re still in the level range for.

Maybe they wanted to play a Dracthyr. Everyone gave such praise for every race being able to play as the Warlock class, it seems having more options to play and do what you want is the appropriate thing to do.

So why can’t they play a Dracthyr in the expansions they want to play in without losing access to the features they get for it? Such as dungeon finder? Saying it’s because they’re intended for the DF expansion is like saying Draenei are intended for BC content so why are they doing WoD? Etc.

Ah, I missed that part. Yeh, you should have an option to get out of the tutorial if you want.

You could try getting a warlock friend to port you out? Or get a character to 59 and race change to Evoker? I know neither of those are ideal and you’d rather have the problem fixed then find a work-around, but in the meantime…?

Doesn’t work.

There’s no ability to do this.

I just wish chromie time went upto lvl 70.

Tired of leveling alts in DF. There’s no reason to force me into DF. I don’t really like it anyway enough to do M+ or pvp. If I make friends I can turn off chromie and go do something with them. Otherwise DF isn’t worth grinding past 400-411. And just doing professions, WQs, and gathering.

Also you barely get any exp in BFA after 50. The main campaign and nazjatar didn’t scale past 50. So I was stuck at lvl 57 on my alt and had to do dungeons to get upto 60 anyway.

I agree with the OP tho. More options are better here. Not having the option means people quit and do something else.

You cannot force people to raid, do M+, or PvP and like a particular expansion.

You can only make the game good and keep it worthwhile for them so we stick around and become part of the bigger pool of players that can make friends and recuit from.

Draenei aren’t level 60+ by the time they finish their starting zone.

And that’s what OP is asking for, to not be level 60+ so they can play the content they want to play on the race they want to play. Is that so wrong?

They could play literally any other race and class to do this. They cannot play the one race and one class that begins past the point where BFA is an option.
