They’re not useful on the front lines and barely sentient. A pet’s life is more suited to them.

Keeping sapient humanoids as pets has another name: slavery. We don’t do that here.

Vulpera are capable of free thought. This places them in the “sapient” category. Sentient just means capable of emotions and the senses, and any animal can be sentient. The vulpera used their judgment and wisdom to help and befriend the orcs and Zandalari trolls and therefore join the Horde.
Sentient
Means having the ability to feel or sense things, such as seeing, hearing, tasting, or smelling. Sentient beings can also experience emotions, such as joy, pain, fear, and gratitude.

Means having or showing great wisdom or sound judgment, or having or showing self-awareness. Sapient is often used to describe intelligent species that are different from animals.
This is blatant horde propaganda. They’re just foxes.

Foxes do not make good pets. They pee everywhere and it smells horrendous. They’re also very destructive.
