That’s take alot of energy to use and where are they going to get this huge energy source?
One of the issues with manned missions to mars is logistics. Frankly, it’s a logistical nightmare.
IIRC from what I have read years ago, it takes roughly close to two months (or more) for an unmanned probe to reach Mars. And computers do not need to eat food or drink water, so it’s relatively easier for probes to get to Mars. Living humans is vastly more trickier in comparison. Because not only does the space vehicle to get there needs fuel, but needs to store food for the crew.
Then there’s the issue of “is there gonna be a return trip?”
So yeah, it’s really no wonder why the Manned Mission to Mars trips keep getting pushed back. It’s a difficult mess.
This Artemis program has me intrigued.

I agree,but it we can in fact take it in logical steps it would be better so can developed more refine process.So a station ,possible two, is better bet in the long run both with energy cost and efficiency.
Not enough energy to flue one from that distance,now in the context of video games using them of course,It’s all make believe.

To be honest, the idea of an international collaborated space program… Shivers at the accomplishments that we could achieve if we put aside differences for the greater good of our species.

Thank that it wouldn’t? If you can think it it maybe just so happen. Just as in wow,if we did go to Azeroth moons wouldn’t we possibly start some kind of fight? We did when we first found out about azerite.

That ever presence the lingers in the back of our mind always place doubt ,I would hope the man would over come this for his own sake. It gets more complicated when you have more than one species working together for one goal ,which in real life we haven’t had that type of interaction yet. Imagine if Earth were Azeroth with this situation. What would become of it in space?

Well,if you wait another 250,000 yrs you maybe see that but i’m sure we wouldn’t. So if we in real life don’t leave our home it will be a death trap for our own kind. With that in mind,wow may be the same way.
I guess the cartoonist doesn’t realize there were 5 additional crewed moon landings.
Food & water are relatively easy, the real challenges are radiation and gravity. The second can be solved through engineering, in theory. The first is more of a problem, but they’re working on it.
I’ve been convinced to give up my dream of a lunar colony, due to the dust. Tiny light static-cling razor blades getting into all the electronics, getting into our lungs…
Some people think we’re already there on the moon, a base and everything and 2024 is the big reveal, sort of.
Idk really but if that’s what they want to do, okay.
